Quest of Wizard

This is a really fun game, simple to learn but hard to master. When i watched the trailer I was interested in the graphics and how smooth the movement looked and I wasn't wrong; the graphics are really sharp and pretty and the movement feels nice after you get used to the fact that the wizard is really floaty. You have your dash and your main and secondary spells to fight enemies and get coins, and with that money you buy upgrades to your spells and some passive abilities, and what I like about that is that those upgrades are significative, you feel way more powerful just after upgrading one spell and it's fun to return to already beaten stages to overpower enemies that were harder before. The only thing I think need a fix is the fact that you don't attract the money you win and sometimes that money falls into spikes and you can't really get it. It also seems to be the work of a solo developer, and that's impressive. Really recommended.

Game is actually pretty fun, surprised it hasn't popped off more.

It's a good little game that is initially very engaging because of the way it builds on old recipes, it feels very similar to a 16bit amiga game and at the same time it offers a nice challenge with level memorization. But it overstays its welcome a bit, toward the end the levels start repeating themselves and the upgrade system, in the end doesn't bring anything to the game. The game would have been better if it was shorter. At least it's cheap. A lot of fun for the price. Easy to recommend. Deserves more players
