About This Game

Inspired by Kingdom

They grew every night, increasing in numbers and consuming everything in their sight.
Ruined country, scattered population, nowhere to go.
The light will give you time, delaying your inevitable fall.
Defend at night until sunrise just to prepare for another tougher night.
Dark will descends stronger until everything is consumed.

Gameplay

A 2D pixel art side-scrolling resource management with some action and looting.
In the morning you can take a little bit of a breather to prepare and do a little bit of exploring in this small world.
In the night, protect yourself in your base from the shadow creatures looking to consume everything.
Upgrade your equipment or give them to your people to increase your defenses.
Discover hidden and unique artifacts to equip it that would help you in your journey.
Fight back against the shadow creatures and kill their monarchs.

All it need is a little story/lore at the beginning of the game about the main character and the objective, it took me 30 minutes to understand the objective of the game... Other than that the game is perfect, the artwork is 11/10, game mechanics is 9.5/10, sound design is 10/10, and i haven't found any bugs/glitches through out my gameplay

[h1] Confusion [/h1] After the initial 10 minutes of "wth am I supposed to do" its not that bad, a hint for new players [spoiler] buy arrows at the market, kill deer, sell goods at the market, harvest herbs and sell at the market. Market is by the fire, sell item by dragging from inventory to bottom of inventory. Hire Archers at archer flag, assign to a wall by interacting and then hit left or right. There are 2 chests close by in the forests [/spoiler] Quite entertaining.. Once you know what you are doing.
