About the Game

Story Background

What if we told you that there is another side to this world? That the established order of our existence is under constant threat from an unknowable number of horrifying abominations. Most of humanity has never encountered these anomalies - a creature that kills anyone who sees its face, a cult capable of causing worldwide disasters, everyday objects that take on otherworldly powers, and other monstrosities beyond our comprehension. Standing between them and us mere mortals lies humanity's last line of defense - a mysterious global organization committed to "secure, contain, and protect". Meet the SCP Foundation.

Your Roles

Rookie researcher Karl, a new employee at the SCP Foundation, is assigned to help organize some of the Foundation's top-secret files. However, something inexplicable happens while he is browsing the archives. Karl's perception of the world gradually changes, and even his psyche becomes seriously affected. Can you retain your grasp on sanity after experiencing these anomalies?

Unique Experiences

SCP: Secret Files offers a diverse range of gameplay experiences – investigate a mysterious hydroelectric power plant, immerse yourself in an uplifting fable, or delve into a bizarre, retro-inspired world. Each story introduces its own tone, mechanics, and cast of characters.

SCP Lore

The world of the SCP Foundation covers a wide variety of ideas, encompassing people and creatures, objects and phenomena, abstract concepts, and even supreme beings such as SCP-3999. Likewise, these stories examine a wide range of themes, including horror, science fiction, comedy, mythology, and more. We have designed our game to be an SCP-fan's dream experience, as well as the perfect primer for those unfamiliar with the weird and wonderful lore of the SCP Foundation.

The game is amazing and incredibly atmospheric and its what I've been looking for in an SCP game, its not your same rotation of SCPs with escaping the facility, its short story's done in an amazing way I am absolutely in love with the fact that they used lesser known SCPs with fantastic stories to follow them and its a nice change from the usual of 173 or 096 It is a decently short game and I managed to finish it in about 4 hours but it is the best 15$ I've spent Its probably not going to happen but I do really hope that they add more niche SCPs into the game or into another game similar to this one

I bought the game since the graphics and gameplay seemed more refined than most scp games, and although the graphics did deliver pretty much everything about the game was pretty mid at best. The voice acting was fine but the writing was pretty terrible and especially the way they portrait the scp foundation is horrible. As an example, in the second mission we hear that the foundation have lost contact with a site and suspect a breach. The foundation then chooses to send in ONE SINGLE PERSON whom they give no information whatsoever to. They don't say what the scp(s) contained at the site actually were or what threat they might pose. In the beginning of the game you get a kind of introduction/lecture in a type of zoom call with a bunch of other new recruits, and EVERYONE'S NAMES whom are in the call are just on desplay, SO if someone somehow managed to maybe gain access to this call who are not supposed to, they get full names of multiple people who work there. Wasn't the scp foundation ...

It was a fun, neat and unique little SCP game. I just wish that there was more to the game and that the puzzles were a bit more easy. Also, the toaster one is over-hyped and it might just be me, but the game was pretty buggy sometimes.

To be honest, some stuff felt like "lets add this for the sake of having a longer runtime" but overall it was a good expierence.
