The Upturned

for every moment i played this game i cried, i didnt stop once. my tears have filled up my room by half a foot into a swimming pool for very short people or raccoons which is odd given there is a hole under the door and i am upstairs. i also did not invite any raccoons but their presence is appreciated nonetheless.

One of the most creative and fun games I've ever played. Absolutely in love with this game. Funny, scary, cute, and charming in all the right ways. Definitely recommend picking it up. Can't wait to see what the developers do next!

Funniest horror and scariest comedy game i've played. For the price it's a steal

Extremely fun and scare aspect isn't even a problem despite me being an absolute pussy when it comes to horror games(it's NOT a horror game).

A very goofy and over-the-top horror game which manages to mix elements of light-hearted fun with actual terrifying and panic-inducing moments. Its story starts off simplistic but over the course of the game evolves to be quite complex and investing, as the mystery of the Upturned Inn and the circumstances on how you got there unfolds. Each enemy and level is unique, requiring the player to come up with different solutions to get themselves out of harms way. I'd say for its price it is absolutely worth your time. 8/10

The goofiness and absurdity of situations you get yourself into helps ease down the horror factor. That's not to say it isn't scary. The game achieves a perfect balance with comedy and horror, which helps to keep you going.
