The updated Terms lock you out of the game unless you agree that you don't own the game and you don't have any monetary interest in the game. I paid $100 Canadian Dollars for this product and now I can't use it unless I surrender any and all rights of personal ownership of the copy of the game. This updated ULA is not what I was led to believe I'd have to accept in order to enjoy a product I paid money for. I enjoyed this game for the most part. There's a lot I didn't like about it either but the things I liked outweighed the dislikes to me. But now I just can't enjoy the game unless I agree to their new Terms. I hope stop killing games ends this predatory practice worldwide somehow and I'll be demanding a refund in spite of my hours and time playing and owning this game. People deserve better than this.

You will join Constellation – the last group of space explorers seeking rare artifacts throughout the galaxy – and navigate the vast expanse of space in Bethesda Game Studios’ biggest and most ambitious game.
Tell Your story
In Starfield the most important story is the one you tell with your character. Start your journey by customizing your appearance and deciding your Background and Traits. Will you be an experienced explorer, a charming diplomat, a stealthy cyber runner, or something else entirely? The choice is yours. Decide who you will be and what you will become.Explore Outer Space
Venture through the stars and explore more than 1000 planets. Navigate bustling cities, explore dangerous bases, and traverse wild landscapes. Meet and recruit a memorable cast of characters, join in the adventures of various factions, and embark on quests across the Settled Systems. A new story or experience is always waiting to be discovered.Captain the Ship Of Your Dreams
Pilot and command the ship of your dreams. Personalize the look of your ship, modify critical systems including weapons and shields, and assign crew members to provide unique bonuses. In deep space you will engage in high-stakes dogfights, encounter random missions, dock at star stations, and even board and commandeer enemy ships to add to your collection.Discover, Collect, Build
Explore planets and discover the fauna, flora, and resources needed to craft everything from medicine and food to equipment and weapons. Build outposts and hire a crew to passively extract materials and establish cargo links to transfer resources between them. Invest these raw materials into research projects to unlock unique crafting recipes.Lock and Load
Space can be a dangerous place. A refined combat system gives you the tools to deal with any situation. Whether you prefer long-range rifles, laser weapons, or demolitions, each weapon type can be modified to complement your playstyle. Zero G environments add a chaotic spectacle to combat, while boost packs give players freedom to maneuver like never before.Screenshots
Bethesda Gave Me the Stars… Then took away the sky
I was walking in New Atlantis, just there wandering, alone, thinking about how this city looks big but feels small at the same time, that's where I stumbled upon it, 'TerraBrew' i went there, maybe to get some latte or just black coffee with no sugar, the employees were arguing with someone, so i thought I'd help myself, went to one of the tables, and took a sip from the latte left there, the next thing i knew is UC security all over the place, weapons all drawn at me, and they telling me that i am under arrest, I thought okay, maybe I'd pay a fine or get a lawyer or something, but nooooo. Blackout, i wake up in jail, somewhere in space, and Commander Ikande is there telling me that I have the qualifications to work for space government (i really wish getting a job in real life was this easy) and infiltrate the Crimson fleet as a spy. This where I realized that Bethesda don't make games, they make fever dreams with budget....
I know. I know. 479 hours played and a "thumbs down." I get the contradiction. Here's the thing: there are parts of this game that I love. Building spaceships and bases is my crack. Disabling and boarding an enemy ship, wiping out the crew, and adding it to your own fleet = *chef's kiss* The problem is that most of the rest of the game feels like it was designed by my 14-year old self. "What if we made a game that was Wing Commander + Doom?!" The RPG elements feel largely superficial and the story is--with the exception of a few specific missions/quests--not worth your time. Not once did the characters or plot elicit an emotional reaction from me. If you want to play Spacecraft Engineer or SimBase, you'll find something to enjoy here. If you want a deep, involving first-person RPG with robust mechanics, interesting characters, buildcrafting, and a memorable story, you should go play Cyberpunk.
I keep looking over at this piece of shit rotting in my steam inventory. 70$ i'll never see again. every little while an update will roll through, drawing even more attention to my foolish trust in Todd. Never again, you weasel. A masterwork in how not to make a game. Feels like one of those shovelware crypto scam games yet made by one of the most (formerly) beloved devs of all time.
I genuinely love Starfield. The world-building, the freedom, the ships, the outposts it’s everything I wanted in a Bethesda space RPG. I’ve sunk hundreds of hours into one character, pushing them well beyond level 300, and I still find new things to do. But here’s the problem: Bethesda designed Starfield as a long-haul game, not a short replayable one. Outposts are built to expand, link resources, and grow over time. Ship building is a massive time investment, meant to evolve with your character. The whole premise is that your universe grows with you. And yet… the engine can’t sustain it. Without a proper save file cleaner, the game slowly chokes itself with leftover data ghost scripts, orphaned quests, broken references. Eventually your once-great save risks crashing, bloating, or stuttering until you’re told the only “solution” is to restart. Restarting is fine in Skyrim or Fallout where each playthrough can feel fresh. But in Starfield? Restarting means dele...
I got Starfield on sale two years after the launch so my experience is way different from someone who purchased at launch but I have to say I am enjoying the game so I don't understand all the hate for it to be honest. It is totally Skyrim in space and it still has some of the clunky interface but improved, the npcs are improved and the story has so far been fun. I am sure you can speed run this to the end but at the time of writing this I am 130 hours in the game with a lot of stuff I have not even been too yet. I have paid more for games with a lot less content thats for sure. If you liked skyrim and you dig a Bethesda type rpg then I would tell you to give it a try.
Poor and generic concept. Starfield might be the most boring experience of all my 50+ years. Not even Elite Dangerous reaches that kind of boredom. Ugly and outdated mechanics, combat is a joke, rpg elements are nonexistent and all and all, it's just a very expensive proof that Bethesda isn't no more. I think it is time ( after the disaster FO76 and STARFIELD ), I think it's time to give Bethesda a few years off it's products. They're expensive, unworthy and frustrating. Incompetence at it's worse.
🚀 Starfield - Mixed Feelings Among the Stars
What I Played: Spent around 90 hours exploring the vast universe, completing quests, and encountering the same faces on different planets. The Good:

The story had potential and kept me engaged throughout my playthrough.
Exploration felt rewarding with unique planets to discover and environments to traverse.
The game's soundtrack and sound design added immersion to the space-faring experience.
Customizing my spaceship and upgrading gear provided a sense of progression and personalization.
The Bad:

Repetitive quests became a common occurrence, leading to a feeling of monotony.
Encountering the same faces for different characters broke the immersion and made interactions feel less unique.
Some technical issues like bugs and glitches hindered gameplay enjoyment at times.
The overall gameplay loop lacked innovation and felt familiar rather than groundbreaking...
Stop breaking mods with dog water updates that focus on creation garbage. Leave it to community as you always did ffs.
I went into Starfield thinking I’d be the main character, a spacefaring Sigma with infinite rizz, exploring galaxies, pulling alien baddies, and discovering untold wonders. Instead, Todd hit me with the ol’ “It just works” in 4K disappointment. The planets? More empty than my DMs. I’ve seen Minecraft superflat worlds with more personality. Every time I landed on a new world, I half-expected a Skibidi Toilet to pop up just to give it some life. The gunplay? Mid. The ships? Yeah, you can build ‘em, but they handle like a brick in zero gravity. And the NPCs? More dead inside than me after watching 300 hours of Ohio memes. I tried to flirt with one, and they gave me dialogue that felt like it came from ChatGPT with a bad Wi-Fi connection. Zero rizz. Negative rizz. Loading screens? Bro, I’ve seen shorter wait times at McDonald’s ice cream machines. And don’t get me started on the “exploration” — I walked five minutes on one planet and hit an invisible wall. ...
