Buck Up And Drive!

An absolutely FANTASTIC racer! Perhaps my favorite of all time?? It's an absolutely INSANE game filled to the brim with so much crazy bullshit you will NEVER see in any other car driving game. Genuinely shocked this game has under 1,000 reviews because it is seriously SO good!! +Feels great to play, looks great to play, genuinely just awesome the whole way through +Grind on rails with your car, using fighting game inputs with your car, and do tons of stupid shit with your car that makes the game a total blast +There's a 2P versus mode where you engage in Car Combat +Lots to unlock and do. As well as fully customize your car decals by putting them in an image editor of your choice. I covered mine in scalie art, for example. You can do that in this game cause it's amazing -Feel like there could be more music maybe? -Enemy cars can be a little brutal, particularly the enemies you race to unlock new cars

This game had been on my wishlist for awhile. It looks so cool, right? Well...that's about all it has going for it. The drifting mechanic, which is a core element of the game, is executed horrendously. There is no fine-tuning with it, like in other racers. You are either driving straight, or drifting sideways, with very very little room in-between for adjustments. The game also lacks any sharp turns where drifting would make more sense. It's all just straightaways, with very slight turns here and there. Oh and the music? Pretty much nonexistent. I hope you like the song in the trailer, cause that seems to be the only song in this game. Overall, a bad experience. I will seek out my Rad Racer fix elsewhere.
