About This Game

THE SOURCEWORLDS

SourceWorlds is a co-op action-adventure game that takes you into the surreal world of the "Architect". Master quests, loot legendary items, defeat dastardly enemies, explore the mysterious game world with your friends, or give them a chinlock in the PvP arena.

You accidentally get drawn into the artificial world of the "Architect".
With the help of unusual items and weapons, it's up to you to find a way out of this madness and return to the real world.

Destroy your opponents with a wide variety of weapons and items! With the stop sign to the face, spawn a dwarf army and use the hook to ambush your enemies. Drive ships over land, cars over robot armies or use the dragon to create an inferno.

Actually, you just wanted to spend a relaxing retro gaming session with your buddy and some old consoles.
Somehow, though, you seem to be having some damn bad luck right now, and so you're whisked away to an alien world (Jumanji, ring any bells?).

You'll quickly find out that SourceWorlds is a very strange place.
Different ages, different cultures, everything seems to be interwoven - and unfortunately, they are not the worlds from our childhood.

The Architect seems to be the all-encompassing and corrupting force in this world. To return to reality you'll have to work with him, hopefully he's up to no good!

Cool coop game, even if the company/developers are relatively new they constantly add new features as you can see from the change-logs. They actively listen to the users as you can see in the community-hub. I think the price is worth it if you compare how much/actively they work on the game within the early access. Looking forward to the next releases/features they add to the game; definitely can recommend giving it a try.

I recommend this game, although its by a bare margin. Sourceworld's main issue isnt with its gameplay or story or unique environments, its optimization. I played on 1440p medium with a ryzen 5900x, 6900xt, 32 gb of ram, and a regular ssd. Saw myself averaging about 45 fps which means if you were to play with the minimum requirements it would be unplayable imo. Other than that I think this game is worth its asking price.

If you're looking for a fun game to play with your friends that you don't have to take too seriously. Look no further! As the description tells you, this is an early access CCC game. A game where you and your friends can have a lot of fun trying to pilot a ship on land, ram each other with a car and have fun with the ragdoll animations of your opponents. But you can also progress through the story, fight bosses and collect loot and rare items. You also have the opportunity to explore a lot, especially in the first world. You will encounter glitches and bugs, but they are part of the fun. I strongly recommend playing the game in multiplayer and not solo. The enemies don't scale accordingly and you will have an easier time if you play with someone else. Finally, I would like to give one piece of advice: Being sober while playing is completely optional!

Full release? Be warned. Bugs found in the first 10min. Changing keybinding causes current setting and prior settings to not function. Example: Moving interact key from E to F. QLL failure Moving during character conversation can cause main quest to entirely bug out, trapping the player in the first room. - GAME BREAKING "Helper" character incessantly teleport into character model, often pushing you into hits in combat or in at least one case off the edge of a cliff. - QLL Failure I am on the fence about refunding this one, it is most certainly not worth the 12bucks offered. 6-8 range perhaps, but for a so called full release this acts more like alpha, or early access. So not exactly sure what the Dev team has in mind, but if this is full release end of the road on working on this product. This is one stinky apple, with a coat of wax to make it shine they are trying to sell here.

I really fell in love with the atmosphere of the game. The view, the music and the art style in some places is just stunning. A huge plus is the coop mode. It was a blast to just mess around with my friend and explore all the places for loot.

I hope the dev's focus on PVP/Dungeons/Trading. - It would be nice to wager a match in pvp and use coins. - Using coins to generate a harder/larger dungeon. (using money to possibly make more money) - One life system within a dungeon, if you die you can be revived by other players, otherwise, that 'generated' dungeon is now gone. - A system in where drops have different states, example being a "ghostblade" has a 'perfect state' in which this ghostblade does a bit more damage than a regular 'ghostblade'. - Perhaps a system where you use coins or gathered material to level up gear/items/perks.
