About the Game

Gehinnom is a randomly generated multiplayer horror game for 1-4 players.
Banish the demon chasing you by performing a ritual. You will have to find out what items are needed for the ritual by collecting clues you can obtain from solving various random quests.

In Gehinnom, a sense of fear is assured due to the game's complete reliance on randomness in every aspect, from room layouts and roads to furniture placement, clues locations, quests, jump scares, demon's attack patterns, traps, and even the smallest details like rocks on the road and unpredictable weather.

Gehinnom also features a PvP mode where one player becomes the demon and hunts the players before they complete the ritual.
As the demon player, you begin the game in the form of a ghost, and your spawn meter fills up as you terrify the human players by utilizing the environment around them.
Additionally, every human player has their own fear meter, which rises as they come across scary situations, a player with a fear meter maxed out at 100% becomes highly vulnerable to your attacks.

Even in death, your contribution remains essential for the ritual's success.
As a ghost player, you can still complete some quests and communicate with your team to provide information about clues and items locations.

>Went to the woods in the middle of the night >No idea how I ended up there but at least I have flashlight >Trying to find my way back home when this deer demon attacks me >Im not asthmatic like the horror games where you can only run for 3 seconds >Outrun the demon >Find clues on how to banish the demon >Gather stuff for the ritual >Circle the woods 5 freaking times to find everything >Finally got everything and the demon burned in the middle of the pentagram before my very eyes >Was able to leave after what felt like forever >Finally got home >Turned on my PC and played Gehinnom

I know this is an indie developer and it was made by one person and I give them a large amount of credit. However I found the game kinda disappointing I followed this games development for a long time I found out about it through Tiktok and loved the idea. It was an interesting and unique concept for a multiplayer horror game which I always love playing. But when I started playing I felt no tension or nervousness I didn't find the game all that scary unfortunately. The chase with the demon is kind of boring and I think the map is a little too large. But not everything about this game is bad, visually the game looks pretty good especially for a solo developer I love the idea of the puzzles you need to solve in order to progress. The parts where you need to solve clues and puzzles is the best part of this game it is where it shines, but the most important part of horror games are to be scary and unfortunately I don't think it is. I don't mean to be cruel especially to a solo developer bu...

So, lets start this is off on a real note and devolve into chaos after. Is this game worth 10 bucks? Yes, the game runs good for the most part, everything is random so there's tons of replayability packed in there, and the demon is scary, which is a huge plus. Sadly there are a few bugs in the game, minor ones at that, but the Dev (Yes, this game was made by one hard working person) and community are working together to iron those out which is great news for Gehinom. Updates are gonna be things the community wants/votes for, which is a breath of fresh air in this day and age where Devs just ignore what their players want. The biggest negative about his game so far is there is no cheese demon!

An indie game nonetheless, but with a very clean and pleasing menu compared to most others. Very active developer, having produced 3 hotfixes since its release just yesterday as of writing this. The game also has a spooky atmosphere with the weather and the sheer darkness, and addresses some annoying bits other games hinder the players with. Such as an inventory that can hardly hold any items, which this game's inventory is both alright at the start, but can be upgraded with red backpacks. Or a sprint meter that doesn't feel weak or pitiful, but doesn't hinder gameplay as it WILL run out as you're being chased, but if you're smart with it, you can spare yourself an attack. The sheer randomization the game offers really does create replayability out the wazoo, because each run really does feel fresh. The flashlight is a welcome improvement to how other games address it, and the game generally makes you wary of your surroundings. The Wendigo is a stalking monster, meaning it won't spaw...

TLDR: It's fun, play with the bois. Small learning curve but once you figure it out, it's a grand ol time. The wind outside howled relentlessly, carrying the unmistakable chill of October with it. The leaves, painted in hues of crimson and gold, rustled in the dark, and the moon hung low in the night sky, casting eerie shadows across the room. I sat at my dimly lit desk, a sense of anticipation in the air as I prepared to dive into the horror game "Gehinnom". Inside, the room was bathed in the soft, flickering light of pumpkin spice-scented candles, adding to the atmosphere. My fingers hovered over the keyboard, ready to launch the game, condensation wet against my finger tips as I raise my glass and drink my Vodka Diet. Ooooohh so good does it taste as it fills my mouth like those old fateful nights. Secrets!? Random generation!? Jump Scares!? What more could one ask for on an October night? I booted up the game and loaded in, I made a public lobby because a stranger is just a frie...

Unique game. Controls are great. Love the concept. Unlike most games it's really well balanced. Can't wait to see what this developer has in store for this game!
