About This Game

I think that everyone felt despair at least once in their life, and we all know that it is not a pleasant feeling. Well, the characters of Let Me Die (inside) fell into despair head over heels and decided to leave this world as soon as possible. Your duty is to fulfil their wish.

Let Me Die (inside) tries to teach the player how to prevent yourself and others from getting too far into misery by showing the horrible effects of bullying, irresponsibility, rudeness, alcohol and ignorance in the most brutal and ruthless ways.

Let Me Die (inside) is a quest. In every level, the player lives through or is told about the event that broke the character. After that, the player is expected to find a way to die, which is different in every level. In most levels, the character has final wishes, that the player has to fulfil (for example, write a suicide note).
Most of the time, the game is dark and depressing, especially with the soundtrack, but, from time to time, the player might find humorous dialogs or live through funny and absurd events.

The player can expect Let Me Die (inside) to be a depressing, but, at the same time, enlightening and atmospheric experience. The music, pleasant pixel art, lighting, dark humour and dialogs will be enjoyable for anyone who likes indie games and/or absurd experiences.

FEATURES
• Ten levels
• Pleasant pixel art
• Atmospheric soundtrack
• Side quests
• Philosophical and humorous dialogs

I don't even know who might like this. I think that such games only contribute to the aggravation of the situation and very rarely can help anyone. Think twice before buying. Especially if you have a difficult life situation.

After 3 hours of playing, I came to the conclusion that the game is rather boring and monotonous, I don't even know who might like it. I believe that such games only exacerbate the situation and very rarely can help someone. Friends, I do not recommend it.

As per the developer states on the Steam page for this own game.. "This game contains mature content: extreme violence, blood, death, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, self-harm and suicide. The game is not suitable for people under the age of 18, or anyone with mental health problems." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvC9HMVNTLA&t=166s This game is extremely dark and morbid and depressing AF to play. You are NEVER given options in the game to do positive things or think positive thoughts. All you can do is really messed up stuff level after level to end up killing yourself in the game to some really sad depressing music. KEY POINT OF THIS GAME: The only way to truly beat this game is to simply NOT play it. ..And if you're going to "win" and not play this stupid game, then why would you waste money on it? ..It would be different if this developer made a point or offered solutions to not commit suicide inside the game. But it's never a choice. This developer needs help in my opi...

I didn't find it entertaining, or funny, or deep. The "we're trying to teach you about suicide!" disclaimer on game start is patently untrue based on the tone of the game. Humor fell flat for me, might work for you. Some levels (like the bathtub suicide) have some bugs that interfere with satisfying completion criteria requiring a restart of the level, but nothing that makes the game unplayable. The graphics are enough but are re-used throughout all levels. Sound is good enough for what it is. Can be completed in 30 minutes. The creator demonstrated a level of technical competence that demonstrates that a good product could be produced with more resources; I couldn't make this thing and the feat on its own was impressive..

What a rip-off. Almost zero effort went into this. They went only for the bare shock value and forgot to make a game around it... or any kind of meaningful experience for that matter. The explicit graphics are simplistic and suck. You're always playing the same guy in the same apartment in each level ruining the immersion especially since the game's shop descreption clearly mentions characters as in several of them. This is just lazy.
And the psychological and emotional aspects of dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts is non-existent.
All you do to clear a level is to kill yourself for vague reasons only briefly explained in a textbox that you can't revisit. And you can't even get creative. You're specifically told how to off yourself and what to do to make it happen.
It's obvious that they put no thought into any of this and went only for the shock value.
Also, I know from experience that this is not how suicidal people behave. This stupid "ga...

I enjoyed this game, I got some kind of dark catharsis out of it. The darkness of death might seem jarring but for someone who's been contemplating suicide it's common and taboo. It's interesting in that way, like a little lure. The way we talk about suicide and fear it results in a suppression of conversation and human connection. As scary as it seems darkness is something of a bridge to people in pain. I don't think this game would be made by anyone who didn't hold a great deal of empathy for others

Full playthrough w/ all achievements here (once it uploads): https://youtu.be/7LlSE2DUVzw The game is okay in my opinion it's not really great the humor kinda fell flat for me with all the pedophilia etc. I like that there's an optimistic message at the end, but the journey overall was kinda bland and monotonous it's pretty easy to get all the achievements though and it's only 89 cents I'm usually pretty into dark absurdist humor, but for me this was just okay.

Was not as dramatic as described, but it definitely was an absurd experience and the game is definitely worth the money. The art is pleasant and the music is really nice and depressing. Music is, probably, the best part of the game, so you should check this game out at least to listen to the soundtrack.
