About This Game

Custom Machinery is a block based building game in which you can build vehicles and other machines, configure their parts and use them.

Currently there are 42 different blocks many of which are highly configurable.Of these blocks there are 3 seperate types;
-Structural Blocks: Blocks that are used for giving the vehicle its shape.
-Movement Blocks: Blocks that move the vehicle by applying force to it.
-Shape Changer Blocks: Blocks that change the shape of the vehicle.

Vehicles can be saved in a text file and can be loaded from one. Which means they can be shared anywhere on the internet.

I like building games a lot so I wanted to have a go at this; Pros: + At first it seemed like you can't really do anything but as you try stuff and learn how it works, you can build cool things + Most blocks have 3 sizes + Saving/copying your builds can be done quickly + Not expensive + Nice graphics Cons: - Hard to learn (I recommend you to watch tutorial videos. Link to tutorials ) - New players may not find the controls easily (They can be found by pressing F1) - Not much to do in map - Audio is not the best In short, you gotta spend some time learning the game but If you enjoy building stuff, I say give it a try.

Surprisingly fun even if the controls are hard to understand even with the tooltip. Very polished with what is there and really hope the dev keeps up. It's clear there's a lot of passion put into it by presumably one person. Best wishes and whatnots, would recomend, especially for its price -MM

No way to flip over if you get stuck. No on-screen controls. F1 shows a transparent list of keys to remember. You are instructed to go to the YouTube channel for tutorials rather than having them in the game. If the developer simply put keys on-screen, it would be much easier to get into. 4 small wheels will provide an excessive amount of thrust by default, and do not require any sort of engine, or even hinges to rotate. There also aren't any arrows telling you which way they spin or turn. The only issue with balancing I had was trying to assemble a vehicle without it falling over. The 'magnetic clamp' or whatever, wasn't. Blocks can be free-floating yet still attached to the vehicle. The test track is vastly empty, and hitting a wall has very little impact result. I love games like this however for cumbersome controls, very little in the way of instructions and a nearly empty map, I say not for $12 cdn. You're competing with the likes of Space Engineers, Trailmakers and Beseige, s...
