Speedrun Academie

I will start by saying that I probably wouldn't recommend this to a casual player who wants a 3d platformer to beat once and stop. It took me around 20 min to finish the level and I was learning some speedrun strata during it so it could have been much faster. However, if you want a 3d platformer to speedrun then this was made for it. Speedrun academie has a pretty interesting concept where coyote jumps makes you gain more speed and jump higher so it's a risk vs reward thing that is really fun to master. The level has 4 section and it compare your split to your personal best without the need for livesplit. It also has its own site for the leaderboard and you can find your sum of best and also more speedrun mode like the all collectable one. It doesn't have ghost or achievement, but imo it's still really fun to speedrun and try to reach the top of the leaderboard. Even at low price and early development it's impressively fun with lots of depth, hidden paths, fast/slow strategies and near infinite replay value. Keep it up! Polish it, make it longer or add different levels. I didn't find any bugs, I only found a few difficulties but I blame my own skills for that :D

Very fun, fast and addictive!

I normally don't play speedrun games, but I had a positive experience with this one. After playing cavalierly, I came to understand two core mechanics that make the game fun: The perfect jump which builds your overall speed and jump length, and the golden path which gets you the best time...if you can find it. These simple mechanics make for a rich gameplay experience. There is something here for both hard core speed runners who run for perfection, and casual players who are satisfied with finishing a challenging course. Other things I like include the aesthetics, the lighting, instantly restarting after falling, and the competitive leaderboards. This review is made during the very first version of the game, some points might change along the way : Here are a quick pros and cons I found about the game Pros - The presentation is simple, easy to approach and offer your typical platforming with a little twist called the perfect jump. Which basically force you to jump at the very last moment to gain momentum. While going perfect seems interesting.... it is not always the best option which will force you to explore the maps properly and study your options. - Talking about the maps ; Those look great. Fun little game to try to speedrun. It's surprinsingly addicting trying to beat the level as fast as possible. You get your moneys worh
