About This Game

Rites of Wrath DLC

Our new DLC (which was crafted thanks to a lot of fan feedback) lets players experience the Forsaken Lands like never before. We added two new modes, free to all players. Now you can play Skydance’s Behemoth’s incredible moments in bite-sized fashion.

The Arena leaves Beta

Arena Mode is now a fully fledged feature called “The Arena”. Fight off hordes of enemies through three new maps during both day and night. Collect coins from your fallen enemies, then exchange them for powerful golden weapons to reach new heights of mastery. Manage your weapons carefully though, because in The Arena weapons break, sometimes at the most inopportune moments! Conquer The Arena once, and unlock an Endless version of it, where you can find out what kind of a warrior you really are!

The Behemoth Trials are coming for you

Enter The Behemoth Trials and find yourself on hallowed ground. In this sacred space you can perform a ritual that will allow you to face any of the Behemoths of the campaign immediately, with bespoke loadouts that will maximize your chances of success. Choose to fight Shacklehide and call it a day, or challenge Nightscraper, Dreddstagg then Shacklehide one after the other! The order and number of Behemoths you want to tackle are your choice.

Skydance’s BEHEMOTH is an original story set in the Forsaken Lands, a fallen kingdom haunted by tragedy. Play as an outland warrior, Wren the Hunter (the player), and embark on a perilous quest to end the curse that plagues yourself and your village. Your only hope is to slay the unslayable, the monstrous Behemoths.

A Dark Fantasy Adventure in VR

A bold new vision from the developers of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. Skydance brings its in your face - “Virtual Physicality” - to this fully immersive experience, allowing the player to

  • A Dangerous New World: Survive the four biomes of the Forsaken Lands. From snowy tundras to swampy marshlands, the harsh environments may seem uninhabitable, but they hide swarms of traitorous marauders and something much, much worse.

  • Brutal Violence Solves Everything: Use your superstrength in bone-crunching, flesh-cleaving ways to cut down, maim, sever, break and rip apart your enemies.

  • Behemoths Loom Large and Dangerous: To defeat these gargantuan threats you’ll not only need all your strength, you’ll also need every skill in your arsenal to battle them on the ground, in the air, and in the clouds.

For some reason even with a 12th Gen i7 and a Nvidia RTX 5070 ti. The game simply won't run without a horrendous performance. Stuttering lagging and constant audio clipping. How do I have 9.1 hours? That was on my 5 year old quite substantially outdated PC with a i5 and a 950. How I can go to a superior system and the game somehow get unplayable, I simply have no idea. Not sure if the new update caused anything or if it's just somehow incompatible with my new hardware, but until this gets fixed or I figure out what's causing it. It'll be a negative review.

Such a good game, the fighting, the mechanics, the story is all so good this is the best vr game with a story behind it. And trust me grappling, climbing a behemoth to kill it such a surreal experience. Don’t get me wrong this game needs to be polished a bit more. But it’s such a good game that I can overlook it being janky at times. To be honest for 40$ I think it’s a fair price, but when it goes on sale for around 20-30$ that’s when you should definitely buy it because it’s such a good game for that price. Once you get used to the mechanics fighting is so smooth and makes you feel so badass. I need behemoth 2 out already. Skydance killed it with this release.

Like the idea of the game but after the last big update almost 6 months ago it started saying it couldn't detect my headset which I found was a common issue so I stopped playing it. Came back to check it 8/04/25 and it still starts with that error I'm on a quest 3 which I believe is the most common headset. How is this not fixed yet?

I don't feel like it's worth 40 dollars. It feels like an incomplete game. It's short. There's a very small skill tree that doesn't seem like it really has any purpose other than making you feel like it has a purpose. Appears to be very little replay value within the campaign. This game has been out for almost a year a now and I've gotten a glitch at least 30 times now where I start a level, revive, or enter a new area without hands, so I have to continuously restart from last checkpoint over and over again until I get my hands back. Movement feels very clunky and is not satisfying, especially when strafing or trying to run while strafing. You can't tell me that the character isn't built for strafing or fast combat because "he is a big strong tank viking carrying tons of swords". Because dude is climbing cliffs and hopping from ledge to ledge and flying everywhere like Spiderman. I feel like the game is on the shorter side and is paced very terribly.. It's way too linear and the small ...

Some of the worst VR physics based melee combat available on the market, the "Definitely not shadow of the colossus" bosses were cool if not very buggy Story was alright, felt very drawn from dark souls 2 but maybe i'm just imagining that. overall not worth the money. If they were to fix the melee and make the enemies more susceptible to my attacks before they attack and I parry which is rhythm of this games combat (they attack, I parry, I attack, repeat until one or more parties are dead) then i think it could actually be a top tier VR game, but its just so unsatisfying to play in its current state.
