I feel bad but I just can't recommend this game even at it's quite low price tag. There are quite a few reasons: - Game has an extremely frustrating RNG - you can lose fights in just 1 unlucky roll - Opponents stats and racial skills/talents are extremely unbalanced - you can fight the easiest or the hardest fights just because you can't see at a glance what each Gladiator can do(don't even get me started on the Boss enemies which have 10x the stats for their level just because, even on easy difficulty) - Skills on gear are useless and Gear itself scales terribly into late game, Skills themselves - Gear you can get is absolutely insufficient later, when you can get hit for your whole armor value in 1 spell - Sometimes, the game bugs out and your opponent just takes 1-2 quick free turns while you are casting your spell, because winning isn't allowed apparently (this might be a mechanic, but I didn't find anything about it anywhere so It's a bug for me) - Multiple other bugs - Map tra...

Theres a serious prob with this game, the enemies heal too much when ending their turn (even without performing a healing spell or drinking a potion) this leads to fights that last for so long in the early game because when your exhausted and cant attack anymore the enemy heals almost all of their health when you eventually regen your stamina/mana, terrible decision to make mana and stamina draw from the same bar. Also the art style is retarded

NEEDS A LOT OF WORK, CONSTANT ONE HITS EARLY GAME, armour being ignored constantly. no real reason to actually do more than 1 fight a day asides money but its a coin flip if the weaker guys just roll better and instakill you. balancing needs looked at heavily for stats and over all the earlier games were just better.

Best SAS hands down. The combat and gameplay as a whole is so smooth and satisfying, though the game gets completely unfair at the end but so is every other of these games. I just love when I get insta killed or can't even fight back because I'm frozen. 10/10 gameplay made me rage hard multiple times and left me genuinely dumbfounded at some of the stats on the bosses. THIS is sas.

AI is unbalanced and it is nowhere near as well polished nor as fun as the older games. The game lacks instructions as well.
