About This Game

Aspect is an early access retro-inspired roguelite dungeon crawler, where enemies drop Aspects - fragments of their power, that you can use against them. With a variety of enemies to face, weapons to find, and procedurally generated levels, no two playthroughs are the same

The current Early Access version has:

30+ weapons, with unique mechanics
A diverse cast of enemies, each one a unique challenge - but if you can get their Aspects, you can turn the tides and use these powers against them!
Two different types of cave to explore, each one offering different loot and monsters.
Aspects: Accessories, gained from each enemy, that let the player use some of the enemy's power.
All kinds of structures to be encountered in the caves and offer the player new weapons and loot.
A retro-inspired pixel art design, with similarly inspired music.

The aim of the finished game is replay ability - no two playthroughs will be the same, and much more content is planned to come.

The game is cool, definitely still in early access but engaging enough to warrant a try. Once more content is added and everything is cleaned up a bit, I can envision a solid indie title. This title is a great first impression from this developer and I am keen to watch where they go with this solid foundation!

This game has such potential and I am here for it. It is really fun to go through the different floors of the dungeon as you explore it, level up and unlock abilities. A bit challenging at first, but you will quickly get the hang of it. The game getting more and more easy as you progress only makes me excited for the future, and what the developers are planning for the game to make it balanced and harder as you progress. The graphics are simple, but very unique and detailed despite the game being pixelized. I really enjoyed that, because it made it easier for me to focus on the game, enemies and obstacles rather than a world full of details that will take your eyes off the main goal of the game. The aspects are a really interesting game mechanic you will have to earn and I 100% support that, even though I had some trouble gaining some of them. Starting off - This game ran amazingly! the style and graphics with the post processing looks amazing! Items and tools are all random with stats even if they're the "same" sword which is nice! The mobs are definitely a challenge and can overwhelm you at times if you're unprepared which is welcome!!! You can definitely tell the game is early access but just from whats in the game its honestly amazing how much potential it has! Now I could be inept and missed the dialogues but from what I could see there wasn't much of a "Here's what this does" in the game so most things at the minute are just interact and find out. But i absolutely love the art style and sprites!! the music is amazing! AND!!! IT WORKS ON MY ULTRAWIDE MONITOR WITHOUT A PATCH!!! WHICH EVEN MOST TRIPLE A GAMES DONT!! So gets an extra cookie from me for that!
