4 Months of You is an fun and interesting puzzle game with a horror feel to it. I've been playing this game for several hours, and I'm still not finished. But I'm enjoying every minute of it! If you're into puzzle games and have a lot of patience and desire to explore every corner of the game's environment (like I do), then this game is for you. Essentially, this game requires you to solve puzzles one-by-one in order to progress further. You start inside your apartment, and as you progress further, things start to get scarier. You also start to uncover vague details about the main character's background/story, but with still many details left vague (it leaves much for you to 'fill in the gaps'). I really enjoy the art/graphics style, which is akin to PS1 games. I also like the mechanics behind 'breathing to calm down' and running away from/dealing with 'memories' and 'dark phantoms'. Overall, I'd recommend this game to anyone who's into horror and puzzle games! Keep in mind though t...

One of the first things that struck me about this game is how good the graphics looked -- reminiscent of PSX, but it looks as good as you remember instead of as good as they actually were. Subtle but well executed details (like shininess on some objects and nice use of shadows) help the art feel alive. The game channels Silent Hill vibes perfectly. The next thing I liked about the game was the great puzzle design. Figuring out some of the solutions in this game made me feel soooo clever :P I think it's tough to make puzzles like this challenging and interesting enough without being obtuse or frustrating. This game hits that sweet spot. The story felt personal and honest. The exploration was cool too, so long as you don't mind backtracking a little bit (there are shortcuts tho). I did not totally love some aspects of IT, but ultimately those mechanics added to the game, and were an important part of the narrative. I never did figure out how to avoid IT once it manifested. Anyway, thi...
Wasn't really fun at all. There is almost no directions given and you wander around searching for small items to progress the story. You have only 4 inventory spots which is fine but couldn't figure out how to drop items so I ran out of lighter fluid and couldn't pick up more to refill it since my inventory was full and I ended up just wandering around in the dark the whole time. I would not recommend this game at this time. If you want to see some game play you can check out my video below. https://youtu.be/d2km9He0jSE
4 months of you is an interesting game. It's a puzzle game with a little bit of resource and inventory management. The game is painfully dark and you'll have to lit your environment with a lighter you find, but the light isn't free as you'll have to use lighter fluid to refill it every time you run out. I do not like any battery mechanics in any game, however having the lighter fluid does add a bit of agency and stakes to solving puzzle, as the resources you use to solve the puzzle are finite. Even when you interact with a piece of paper and get a closer inspection, without a lighter you won't be able to tell much even when you give a closer inspection. There are lamps scattered throughout the game that you can install light bulbs you find in the environment. However these don't help with visibility as they are just at random location and give light to a small area, though their purpose is more than to give light, however I do not want to spoil their utility. The game gets you thinkin...
It is a pretty cool game with ps1-ish graphic. Puzzles are interesting so far, no repeated and come with unexpected outcomes. Tho the inventory could be a bit frustrated (can't drop item), but most of time it won't matter that much.
Just starting this game but already I am enjoying the PS1-era art style. Gives off a very ominous feel like something will jump out at any point. If you're interested in horror games such as I'M SCARED then you will enjoy this one!
4 months of you is a cool game you have that gives gaming a new feel to horror, few bugs like the gate outside wouldnt open for me but i may have missed a key its a great game all together
Not the scariest game but will definitely leave you uneasy. Play it in the dark, wearing headphones, alone.
