Casa Caballero shows a side of horror that is not at all utilized enough, Filipino mythology. In this horror game, you delve deep into Filipino culture, mythology and the subsequent horror of said mythology. You explore an abandoned manor as you figure out what took place here for this to happen. Pros: - Amazing visuals - nice sound design - Taking from a not well utilized horror set in a country that not a lot of games take place in - Well rounded experience - Cheap and short game Cons: - Not that optimized - No explanation of how to use the flashlight (show the player pick up a flashlight or something) - Got stuck in trying to find some story related items due to it blending in a bit too well with the environment All in all, I can recommend this game. It taking place in the Philippines as well as actively using the culture, language and myths of the country really make this game stand out as a sort of one of a kind experience right now. I do wish that the surrounding area could...

MABUHAY! Adored how charming this game was especially how it paid homage to Philippine mythology and it reminded me a lot of the newer Resident Evil games! Ganda ng atmosphere and it really captured the anxiety of always being watched. However it's not a perfect game and some bugs were present during my brief playthrough... PROS: - The atmosphere was nicely done - I appreciated the voice acting (could've had more in my opinion!) - The references to Filipino culture are on point - Short and sweet. I felt like if it was any longer it would have negatively impacted the player experience. CONS: - Overall felt a bit janky because of the enemy A.I. Most of the enemies got stuck on the environment during confrontations lol - Some animations could've been smoother - Too many chase scenes and underwhelming confrontations Overall, a step in the right direction. I'd love to see what you guys have to offer! :)

what a great indie horror game, its a little bit on the shorter side but the atmosphere is there, i love all the small details the dev team put in the game. navigating the menu is still kinda janky, im playing with my ps4 controller but it doesn't fit really well with the game navigation i guess so i instead use my keyboard, other than that its really a gem of a game, i would gladly recommend it, and i cant wait for the devs next project

This game is awesome, I had such a great time. Puzzles are straightforward and gameplay was tense. Fabulous game, worth the money.

For $5 USD, I got about an hour of pretty good first-person Filipino indie survival horror with decent atmosphere and mostly fun gameplay! I appreciate seeing more Filipino representation, especially tapping a bit into the country's history with the Japanese and Spanish as well as its own folklore, and it's very cool actually hearing Tagalog voice acting especially in one of my favorite genres of gaming. I wish the game were more optimized (game had some heavy frame rate drops compared its graphics, and wold not lock my cursor to one of my two monitors so I had to disable one of the two) and bug fixes (parts of the inventory seemed to get stuck on the screen), and I'll admit that the bunker part of the game was more annoying than fun (felt like I had to do some silly tricks to make progress) plus the story ends very abruptly, but for a first project, this is really cool!
