Utterly disappointing after Medieval Dynasty. From the start it greets you with poor performance even though the visual doesn't really differ from MD. It seems bigger but it lacks features that made Medieval Dynasty great. 1. Population management. Villagers can't form families and can't have kids, so you just cram people randomly into houses with maximum available number of beds. 2. Job management Villagers don't have stats, so you just recruit whoever and assign any job. And it will be done at the fixed time of the day regardless of when you assigned the job. 3. Crop management A single field can grow only one type of crops when operated by villagers and it does it on the same fixed hour. There are no stages through different seasons and there's no actual work on the field done by the villagers — everything just grows on itself when a villager is assigned to the field. But instead we have: 1. Bandits that respawn at numerous indestructible small camps scattered around th...

This game is pretty good for the bulk of it. Crafting, building, management, all pretty solid. But seriously, don't bother yet if you're planning on playing co-op. This game has some of the worst netcode I've ever experienced. You will be rubber-banding more than you are not rubber-banding. That is not a joke.
I've enjoyed the time I've spent in the game. For me at least, there was enough customisation when dropping in for the first time. I got up to speed pretty quick, and restarted the game on a higher difficultly, coincidentally just before the Bushido update, so that added a new dimension pretty quickly but it's plateaued out since. There are different combinations that could be applied to achieving successful villages, but for me I'm enjoying a normal play through, trying to make a nice and not overly hard existence for my villagers. The one thing I'd have liked to have known was that I'd only get 20 points to apply for the leadership talents. I thought they would go up in the same way the others can continue to go up. I understand now that this is intentional and for another play through, I'll adjust accordingly - I'm putting it here so that someone else knows.
I do not recommend this game. Its optimizations are poor, it throttles GPU usage even with Vsync, FPS limits, and lower quality levels. It isn't worth it. I won't recommend something that damages a computer over prolonged use.
Without friends, this game is really quite boring. I really need to stop buying games to play with friends who quit playing them shortly after. what a waste of money.
MD IS GARBAGE, THIS GAME=GOOD Game is great. Performance on a Ryzen I7 5700 3060ti is pretty damn near perfect. Barely had any stutters which don't know I would immidiately blame the game, as I usually have a ton of other things going on on my other monitors as well as recording and video editing softwares so makes sense for some hiccups. Biggest complaint I see from a SMALL fraction of people is its not Medieval Dynasty.......I mean thats a good thing. The only people that will argue are BIG MD Fan boys. TBH MD made me want to fall asleep with in half an hour of playing it everytime. Sengoku took all the stuff that bored TF out of made and made it more interesting or less of a hassle & headache to do. Combat especially. Building is better to me, and as is management. In fact I don't want to compare this game to that at all. Theres plenty of games in this style in genre that do it better than MD. If I had to pick, It'd definitely be this or Bellwright. And I really like this more than...
Really disappointed, great sounding game with promising co-op. However the servers completely make the game unplayable. Tried crossplay with a few xbox buddies and couldn't get into the correct server even with a unique code. Constant rubberbanding, maps don't load properly before entering. Promising game that deserves better support/fixes. Refund requested
I look forward to future updates that expand this game, as it's already quite a bit of fun to play. It's challenging, you can modify the play settings to your preferences, and there's very few bugs. The music is also very relaxing, or intense, depending upon the game situations, but always pleasant to the ear. One thing I would like added for furniture is a bathtub. I would put it in with the mansion furniture, as I understand it would have been a luxury in the age the game is set. Another thing I'd love added to the game is a privacy screen as another luxury furniture, probably made from paper and bamboo. Thanks for a wonderful game!

I really wanted to love this game, especially as medieval dynasty is one of my favourite base/town builder and survival games. I love the first person, rpg concept this has, difficult to find city builders like this but I just couldn't get into it. Something about this game just feels so lacking and empty compared to medieval dynasty. Sure, the buildings look better and the world is beautiful but it feels hollow in comparison to other game.
