Simple, but effective! Lunistice is a fantastic little 3D platformer that takes inspiration from PS1/SEGA Saturn era platformers, but melds that with the smoothness and intuitiveness of more modern platformers. Great retro-styled visuals, catchy music, and satisfying completion bonuses! It is only 7 levels long, each with two Acts each, and not a single boss (for the better honestly). So, the game is extremely short, but it makes up for that with loads of replay value (getting all of the collectibles without dying, going for faster speedrun times, unlockable alternative playable characters, etc), so you will absolutely get your money's worth! I highly recommend!

Very fun platformer with really slick and satisfying controls. Each stage has two separate S ranks to achieve with collecting all the items, and finishing the level without dying. This is made easier, since you can do these in separate runs. After beating the main game, you can play as two more character, which play different enough to warrant two more playthroughs. In terms of the controls, they felt SO good. Like, there was an option to move slower in this game but I never felt like I needed it. Everything just felt so precice, and I almost felt like there was something in the code to try and keep me on platforms since I very rarely missed jumps. No fluff, and the level design is in a way that makes sense, and encourages going fast without backtracking. Just a really fun game, and a steal at the current price.
A cute little platformer with some great visuals and sounds. I can't really say much else. It's most likely a good time for most people. Unfortunately, I am not a huge fan of the controls in the game and I am swiftly reminded of that every time I boot it up to try and finish it. It feels like ice. I cannot tell if the level design is to blame or if the movement itself is. It's probably not as bad to others as it is to me.
Amazing game, movement feels incredibly fluid and the artwork takes me back to OG 3d mario games. There is an overarching story but it is not the main focus of the game and not shoved in your face which is nice for when you just want to play through the game.

cute
Having grown up with the best of the genre on PS1, 3D platformers will always hold a special place in my heart, so a colourful throwback like Lunistice always catches my eye. Having seen it through to 100%, I can't recommend it enough. If you're here, it's likely the aesthetics have drawn you in. These levels are vibrant with strong visual identities that set them apart, but the real crown jewel for me is the soundtrack. Take a listen to any of the level themes and you'll want to jump right in. Hana (the main playable character) has a moveset as simple as they come - just two jumps and a spin to attack or for that extra bit of distance in the air (though something the game doesn't tell you is that pressing both buttons at once gives you an extra high jump) - but these moves can be strung together in any order and she does feel fun to control. Where Lunistice shines is in its level design, the stage gimmicks introduced throughout the game more than make up the difference a...
