works very well on win 24h2. no issues so far. saves me the trouble as replacement Windows 11 stock start menu. thank you stardock software.
Spent hours configuring my page and the groups. Then accidentaly removed it (misclicked Delete Group and Delete Page), bam .. page removed completely. And absolute NO WAY to restore it. Great job, Stardock!
I saw a lot of mixed reviews about this software, and decided to give it a try. I will say this about it: It still suffers a lot from weird mouse tracking when trying to move certain shortcuts on the Windows 10 style start menu like the first version did. For example, lets say I want to move things into certain groups on the windows 10 start menu style on the left side of the list of programs. Often times, it will take me 4-5 different attempts of dragging and moving shortcuts to get it the way I want. Not a detriment, but for a piece of paid software for your start menu, I'd expect it to be more polished. It also doesn't work well with other software meant for ricing your windows install like TranslucentTB. I found that I couldn't get the transparency effect on my taskbar quite the way I wanted because it conflicts with Start11 V2, and Start11 V2's blur isn't quite the way I like it on TranslucentTB, but I can't use TTB with Start11 V2 otherwise Start11 V2 will override it. These are ...
Not as practical as expected, some animations may be missing when using the start11 start menu style. A typical example is when expanding the menu or moving folders, and when some programs are fixed on the taskbar, two separate icons appear when starting, which is confusing,
