This is a very underrated game. If you like survival games, it shouldn't matter that this one is card based. The game itself has the perfect balance of difficulty and fun. And replayability is fantastic because for every 30 days you get one "moon" currency and every day you get one "sun" currency - both to be spent in the menu to unlock more perks for your custom characters. Great game, love it, worth the price. By the way, I highly highly recommend unlocking starting with a dog as soon as you can!

this game is really surprisingly complex and very fun. one of my fave survival games i think it's super underrated and addictive & i highly recommend it :')
This game has really good survival vibes. For a card game it gets really tense and satisfying if you manage to pull through. Playable chars feel different and unique, adding challenge and replayability. Once you get the basics settled and survive the storms and the dry season, the game gets easier and more casual, letting you enjoy the fruits of your efforts. The endgame is optional, waiting for you when you are ready for it. This may be different for the mermaid though - her mechanics are insane. Other than that, the game teaches to take a good care of yourself, physically and mentally. Good game!
This is without a doubt my favorite survival game. I realize the card factor turns a lot of people away but trust me this game is absolutely worth the effort to learn and must be in card format. It hits the perfect spot of relaxing and challenging. I have over 100 hours and i still learn something new every run, something i could have done more efficiently or a feature. I have 600 games in my steam library and this is THE game. Cant stress it enough, must try if you're into challenging survival games.
If you like survival crafting, this is a very good example of the genre. If you want literally anything else from the game, well, there's not much of that. All survival, all crafting, all the time. I love it. It's kinda exhausting. I love it. I can think of about a dozen things I'd change about the game. I hope they've changed some of those in the sequel, Fantasy Forest, which I haven't played yet but it sounds great.
Simple, enjoyable, addictive.
A deep survival game that'll run on a potato PC. All of your resources take the form of cards, but this isn't a deckbuilding game like Slay the Spire. This is more of a turn-based time management game, with each action taking a number of minutes to perform. You can put a fish on your campfire to cook while you weave plant fiber into cordage, but don't get distracted and miss your window or your dinner will burn. There are numerous stats to manage, from hunger and thirst to boredom and loneliness. You also have skills that increase as you perform actions, such as Spearfishing and Herbology. Wounds must be properly treated or infection and blood loss will end your run. All of the classic survival tropes are there, and then some. The main gameplay elements are exploration and crafting. Using the default Hunter difficulty, you start in the Bay and must explore the area to find resources and pathways to other areas. You'll find the typical stones, trees, coconuts, etc. Sometimes you'll f...
It's mostly a game about building sandcastles. I'm recommending this simple but addicting survival RPG in the hopes that this genre will get more traction because I want to see more like this.
