About This Game
Master an innovative combat system inspired by fighting games and character action titles. Memorize combos and specials that break stance, use grabs and mix-ups to throw off your enemies' guard. The depth will keep you practicing for months.
Lose yourself in a post-industrial world of barren factories and boarded up store-fronts. Explore immersive environments, meet eclectic low-lives and witness Mozah's tragic tale in full voice-acted glory.
Learn to defend yourself with invincibility frames, parries, counters and true Quake-engine strafe-jumping movement. Damage is lethal, combat is tactical and practice is imperative. A return to the form of old classics on maximum difficulty. Blink and you're dead!
Travel to distant stars and lay eyes on set-pieces inspired by the science-fiction greats. A fully simulated centrifugal space station, a train that rides up a cable to the heavens. No two levels the same, always with something to impress.
Embrace the pain. The only way to survive is to learn, and the only way to learn is to fail. With a deeply customizable difficulty system and endless mechanics to master, Fortune's Run will leave you only two options: persistence or death!

TLDR: What is there of the game is great, brilliant even. Combat is challenging but enjoyable, movement is a dream. The only downside is that the content is limited, for now. Game plays like a dream, reminds me of the great classics, systemshock, OG deus ex, even a little spark of the original Half-life. I really enjoy it, I think anyone how enjoys the games I listed will enjoy it too. The sole Dev is currently in jail, unfortunate but that is what it is. From what they've said they're down for a 3 year sentence. Now i don't know what county they're from or if there's a prospect of them getting out early for good behaviour or somthing like that. What I do know is that whats there now is worth the price, and if you're okay with the story being left unfinished then I'd highly recommend you consider giving the game a try. Best case the Dev gets out and continues to make something great, Worst case the game stops development here and you'll have a great but unfinished game to enjoy.
Dev is "in jail" and work on the game will more than likely not happen. Do not buy
shaping up to be one of my favorite fps of all time; slick movement, immersive systems, realistic writing, theres currently the first two missions with interludes before both, scouring the levels they both took me like 3 hours each, with the interludes having abt 30 min of content. theres also a mission from a demo build that seems to have all the same systems as the final game but its an excerpt from the middle of the story and is subject to change plot wise. the one caveat is the dev is unfortunately in jail now for the next three years, but this is absolutely one to keep an eye on
I love the world of this game, the environments are incredible.
My favorite game so far
Likes: Game has optional side objectives, secrets, multiple entry points, a detailed stealth system like in Splinter Cell, has takedowns and funny but not overindulgent dialogue. It encourages some backtracking. Parkour is here and you can wall ride. Dislike: Collision detection is broken, you can cheese through the game by crouch jumping through cracks and clip through walls and fall to your death, there's a reason this game is in early access. Some items you get by backtracking you sometimes get anyway later in the level, in the first prison level you could go back with the sergeant's keycard and get armor, or just continue on through the level and collect it after you go through the cargo lift and after the zero g section. What's the point? This design discourages players to find secrets.
