I bought it and finished the game within an hour and half, i mean yeah you can keep replaying if you want, but why do that when you finished it the first run with 0 permanent upgrades, I figured i would lose and die, use keys and shards for permanent upgrades to make me stronger and then try again.... but its so easily beatable on the first run... let me break the game down for you. tower defense but there is no enemy path, you just play you core randomly on the map and then enemies from random portals will path toward your core freely. you can just put damage towers around enemy portals and ONE single healing tower and thats it, portal basicallly dead. and then rinse and repeat with the other enemy portals. you dont even have to kill all the enemies to win, you can just kill the enemy portals and finish the round. LOL with the exception of boss scenarios, but you can do the same strat.... put 5 towers around the boss when he spawns and 1 heal tower and just watch him die LOL. ther...

About This Game
A tower defense rogue-lite where the battlefield is yours to shape.
An ancient evil has awakened, and the Blight is spreading across the land. As a Guardian of the Arcanum, you wield the only weapon capable of pushing it back. In a desperate last stand, defend the realm by building towers, casting powerful spells, reshaping the terrain, and stop the Blight at its source.
Reshape the Battlefield
The terrain is yours to command. Raise, lower, or level voxel ground to create walls, carve out chokepoints, and claim the high ground. Shape the battlefield to control enemy movement and build your ideal defenses, but stay alert. The Blight spreads, enemies adapt, and your carefully constructed defenses won’t last forever.
Contain the Blight
The Blight spreads like a living corruption, creeping across the battlefield and damaging any towers it overtakes. Some enemies spread it as they move forcing you to constantly adapt. Clear infected ground and hold your territory, or risk being consumed by the Blight itself.
Harness Elemental Power
Discover elemental runes that enhance your towers and spells. Runes come in different rarities, applying effects like Burn, Slow, Poison, and Mark. Or boosting stats like damage, range, and health. Mix and match to unlock powerful synergies and shape your strategy each run.
Survive Ever-Changing Maps
Each mission is procedurally generated, offering new terrain layouts, enemy combinations, and challenges every time you play. One map might give you natural choke points and high ground. Another might force you to carve out your own. As the Blight spreads and enemies adapt, no two battles feel the same.
Grow Stronger Between Runs
Even in defeat, your progress carries forward. Collect Arcane Shards to unlock permanent upgrades that enhance your Core, strengthen towers, improve spellcasting, and tilt luck in your favor. Start each run a little stronger, whether that means more health, better runes, or a second chance when things go wrong. Choose how you grow, and slowly turn the tide against the Blight.

User Reviews
I love Tower Defense games, so I tried this one out, even though there is no DEMO. This is a Tower Defense game with no mazes that you can create to make the enemies take longer paths in order to add some strategy to the game play. Enemies just take random paths to destroy your Core (Tower). Not my kind of Tower Defense game. Perhaps others will like this game more than I. Since this game is ~ $10 currently when on sale, I returned it as of today instead of waiting and hoping that the Developer would improve this game over time. Certainly not worth the intro-price.
Enjoyable and good start to a fun tower defense game. I like how its not a typical "map" with predefined routes, but one you can change on the fly with being able to change the terrain. I think some of the targeting like for the grenade doesn't seem to be accurate to where it lands on the ground but that can be fixed in time. I think maybe a more straightforward progression of the maps could give some sense of direction and progress vs just picking which map you'd go to next. Fun game and looking forward to the changes in the future!
This is a fun and challenging tower defense game. The visuals are engaging and it runs smoothly. It has a classic tower defense vibe with a solid progression system and enemy variety. It forces you to adjust your strategy with each wave. I would love to see a straight forward progression map showing levels completed and what's needed to level up or earn more keys. Overall, I think this is a fun game and look forward to exploring it more!
