I deserve a happy ending

This is a strange one. It feels more so like someone presenting their idea for a game to you rather than them actually giving you the proper game to play. The story has a nice basis, but feels a bit rushed at times and like you shouldn't think too deeply on it or you'll be facing quite a bit of things that don't seem to make much sense. The sprites are also strangely positioned in a way that you basically keep staring at chests, because their faces are so high up you'll be lucky to see a forehead. For the price I'd say it's a nice thing to try if you just want to waste some time on a short visual novel. But other than that? Can't say that it's good. It could have been with a bit more effort and tweaking, but.. it's not. Unless curiosity is slowly killing you from the inside, I'd say you skip this one.

It is a short-ish game, especially if you're a fast reader like I am. BUT that's totally reflected in the price and has a lot of great quality CGs that more expensive games don't even have. The choices are very simple so it's not particularly hard, and there's a couple bugs that crash the game to the typical otome game engine error menu, but pressing ignore removes them as issues whenever I faced them so they weren't game breaking in the slightest. But in it's defence, the plot/setting was unique and refreshing, and the narration was surprisingly charming. Plus, there still aren't many BL otome games out there on steam, especially non-sexual ones like this. I really enjoyed myself and I'd happily continue supporting the devs in their further work.

[h3]The Story[/h3] Now this is a story that is unique. You play as a prince who has an unfinished story to share with the reader. He needs your help to determine how his story will end. Will he find love and claim his rightful place on the throne or will his story go unfinished? That is up to us as the writer of his tale disappeared without finishing his story. The story can end in one of two romantic interests, a soft-spoken elf named Elyon, or a dark sorcerer from another time named Yvoress. There are seven endings in total but only 3 achievements (one for each love interest’s good ending and one for the true ending). This was unexpectedly fun to read. I came to see what males do in certain situations and instead got a whole different experience. There is 4th wall breaking in here and that works... You actually have to read one route... Then the other... Get good endings on both AND THEN get the true end... That way, it all ties together nicely. The CGs are awesomely drawn. The field of wish flowers is my favorite and the brooch on Al's clothing is the best! I want one. Al looks rather handsome. That and the hmm... "Newly Appointed Advisor" <-- There, no spoilers. Story is just fantasy fun with lewdness in it a bit... Especially if you have the DLC. Al (The re-nameable MC) isn't annoying. He is actually the best character in all of this. But hey, so are the others. I am confused at times by the sorcerer's mood swings... But that's his thing. Go for it. IF you are looking for BXB romance... This isn't it. Not exactly. Like individual routes offer SOME romance, but all in all it...

Love the whole vibe of this game. Though it is a short story both character routes are entertaining. The art is top notch and there are a good handful of CGs. Worth playing both routes. :)

Short but charming and very generous with the CGs for the lenght of the game.

I've only completed one route (I romanced the cute elf) but its so cute and the end was so sweet!! its a rather short read but the art is pretty and I loved it. 10/10

This game know how to break the four walls

Really not a fan of the game and am hoping I can get a refund. The art is beautiful and the characters are well-designed, but that's about all I can say in favor of it. The plot doesn't really make sense if you think about it at all and, despite being described in the beginning as kind and virtuous, the MC's entire motivation throughout is to look good by doing a heroic deed. If the MC were presented as a more selfish, opportunistic type of person (a la The Pretender's Guild,) it would make for an interesting premise to see him fake his way into a good deed and allow for character development. Instead, the MC is supposed to be a gallant, selfless prince despite the fact that every "good" action he takes is for his own benefit. He's even willing to allow an evil sorcerer to go free and set loose "a thousand years of calamity" rather than admit that it was his own fault the sorcerer got loose in the first place (this scene was where I stopped playing.) I had such a fun time playing this game!! You really cannot go wrong with purchasing this game, it has a very interesting story and beautiful art for such a low price. Thank you so much for creating this amazing game! :)
