About This Game

All players play in a True First-Person view enable to increase immersion and accuracy.
One player takes the role of the spirit; a ghost that haunts a nightmarish pocket-dimension called the "Dark Home". The goal of the spirit is to find and eradicate the players within the nightmare.
The other (x) amount of players are tasked with finding the dream catchers and igniting them, weakening the nightmare and allowing them to escape. But they must be careful; the spirit is not alone in stopping the player. Trapped souls wander around the nightmare, looking to weaken the player and make them easy for the spirit to pick-off.
Will you escape the nightmare in this EARLY ACCESS title?

Dark Home was made in tandem with the book "Dark Home" by author Sandra Rains DeBusk.

I really enjoyed playing the game! It's very new as of the time of me writing this so finding a game took a little bit. As more people buy the game that will change obviously. Over all its a good time, its similar to Dead by Daylight in the sense that it an asymmetric team based horror game. I like the concept but it's honestly lacking way more than content. There's no rush, so take your time making this game. But reconsider having this up for sale. I can go on a list of things to complain about but I won't. I will however say this. Let me turn down the volume.

If you like Dead by Daylight or Phasmophobia this game has elements of both with the gameplay of DBD and the atmosphere of Phas. This game is still in its early stages so there are bugs but for the size of the development team this game is fantastic with great mechanics and a very responsive developer. I cant wait to see how far this game goes as it evolves and becomes more streamlined. For anyone who wants to play this game please be patient with the Developer and give him as much positive feedback as you can so this game can get as great as it has the potential to.

This has potential to be something VERY fun and interesting .... it has a very bare bones DBD kinda vibe to it, saw this game while browsing and it was super cheap so i though what's the harm, honestly it could be really enjoyable with the spirits each having their own mechanics and game play style and it would be cool to see the children have a distract ability or something to help aid them to escape, as once the killer is on you .... that's it! Here is what i encountered in the game as of September 2021 : Lobbies: NONE (got game for myself and a couple of friends in order to play and experiment) Discord : Most offline only 3-4 people who are online with a low amount of users (which is a shame) Servers: When creating/ Joining (played with a few friends) had creation/ connection issues Gameplay : Some interesting an unique maps that are a lil bare boned but later could be fleshed out in full release , the WORST map by far was Coldwood , pitch black even with a lamp (which is very tem...

So for early access this game was pretty good, the levels do need some work as shimaora is too narrow and the spirit wins very easily, and coldwater is too open and easy to win from the kids perspective. otherwise great graphics and premise

This game is NOT playable. It is not enjoyable. It is nothing like DBD or Devour. This game is broken. You would have more fun playing with a mouse and keyboard that isn't plugged into anything.
