Recommended as a "No" but with a caveat. If you want to support indie developers and the potential for future content of this game, I'd recommend to "Yes!". Graphics 3/5: Super cute and fun. I like this type of pixel-y / blocky art style. There is no option for windows mode or border-less windows. No option to set high-graphics or low-graphics (though this game isn't that intensive on any hardware). Not too crazy of animations, wish there were more explosions or sparkles or just something. Sound/Music 3/5: The music composition of the game fits, the music makes the game feel face-paced (as it should). I'm not sure whether there are multiple songs or not, but because the music is so well crafted, it feels like is only one song played throughout the game, so if you don't like the retro music that goes with the game, than maybe it isn't for you. I wish there was a bit more variety in the music, like maybe shuffle through 5 songs of differing tempos or something, once for every 10 stages...

Characteristics and difficulty
The main game element is defense. Since the monsters that have to block the defense have difficulty, we set the level of difficulty to the point where it is difficult to clear if you do not use all the features given in the game.Game Play
50 Waves Hero is a defense game with log likes and growth elements. Players must grow heroes, defeat creatures, discover secrets, and fight against enemies entering the castle for a set period of time.Abilities that vary from item to item

ㅤPlayers can choose items for their hero before the game starts. For weapons and accessories, the character's stats are determined according to the item, and the player's special ability can be selected in the ability item column.
Unlocked Items and Item Equip

ㅤIn the picture on the left, an icon with a locked item is a locked item. There is an unlock element in this game, and you can unlock the item by eating the item on the map. So, if there is an item with the desired stat, you can go around the map and eat the item to unlock it. The unlocking elements in the defense game can take longer play time and make you attach to the game.
Boss wave

ㅤBosses appear every 10 waves. When the boss attacks the castle, it has the power to destroy the castle at once. So the player must defeat the boss before it reaches the castle. Unlike other wave monsters, the boss has high stamina and damage, is slow, and the difficulty increases as you go to the next boss.
Interactions and Items

ㅤCharacters become stronger through items. So, players can get hints about hidden items through interaction with NPCs to get items, explore islands to get items, and use gold obtained by destroying monsters and boxes to purchase items from the shop and become stronger.

User Reviews
The game is way too short. I beat it within 1 hour. You lose a lot of time because of the item-unlock spam you have to go through every time you die and restart, which seems like a bug. It just shows you all 'new' unlocked items after you die, but also repeats this for every item you already unlocked. The game is cute and it makes fun for a while, but I think I wouldn't have touched it anymore after that one hour I played it. So yeah, you should decide if this is what you want to spent your money on. Maybe wait for a 99cent sale to get this, so it might be worth it. I would give a maybe for recommendation if steam had this type, but since it doesn't and there were Bugs which should have been obvious and been able to fix before release, I give a thumb down here.
A fun little game. Took me about 40 minutes to finish, but still have some more stuff to unlock.
The game itself is fun, I enjoyed dying 5 times in 25 minutes. There is a problem with the loot system and UI in general but they are just small annoyances. Unless you play this a lot and get several hundred items you need to click through after every death.
I'm enjoying completing the achievements. Only downside are the bugs plaguing the game. At the end of each round endless clicking through each reward, after beating the game and starting a new round exiting the castle the world does not load, till you quit and re-load the game and finally, knockback late game (Wave 50 boss) caused me to clip through the enemy portal, and get stuck inside, unable to come out and ofc lose... Game has a lot of potential, it's fast paced, extremely fun solving all the puzzles while protecting the castle. Maybe some more randomized events could be fun.
Thought this game was fun. The fighting style and art was good. Music was nice to listen to. Finding out where the loot is and good pathing was fun. Thought it was worth the money. Don't know how much replayability there is since there are no difficulty settings and you cannot just keep going after 50 waves. Only cons being that each time you finish a run, you unlock items. However, on successive attempts, you will see all the notifications for every item you've triggered an unlock for so far. So if on run 1 you unlock items A and B, and then on run 2 you unlock items A B and C, you will see notifications for A, B, A, B, and then C. And you have to click through them all. This is a bug that I am sure would be easy to fix if the developers see this. All in all, fun cute game. Worth a play, took me around 40min to beat.
