A lonely, isolated gaming experience, easy to forget and move on with. One of the hardest things about the 'Velvet Assassin' experience is finding the will to finish it. The games efforts to engage audience with the haunting audio only makes the game more boring and unpleasant . Just as the stealth genre continues to fall into commercial hell... the release of Velvet Assassin only justifies this predicament.

Velvet Assassin is a third person stealth game set in World War II. The whole game is about stealth from start to finish, but even though it’s only around 3 hours long, the gameplay feels repetitive way too quickly. The story is interesting though, and as a short stealth experience it’s not bad. 5/10
The stealth mechanics are somewhat flawed and often unforgiving, but the overall style and charm makes up for it. The only major let down is the very final level of the game, where the stealth gameplay is dropped entirely for the sake of increasing the difficulty.
This game reminds me of a game I played several years ago called Alpha Prime. It has been in my library for years and I finally got around to playing it and it was one of the hardest games I have ever played. Even on the easiest difficulty, the AI never misses a single shot and you get spotted in no time. This game is exactly that. Stupid hard on the easiest difficulty, almost impossible to play stealth because the AI is so broken that they turn around whenever they want instead of being in a timely manner, and the AI does not miss a single shot and kills you pretty much instantly. The fact that I beat this game and Alpha Prime is a legit miracle in itself.
Doesnt start up, crashes immediately. Even with the legacy driver from Nvidia
