For casual players, Wish World is an interesting 3D platformer with many flaws. However, looking at it from a speedrunner's perspective, it has the potential to be among the top in its category. At its best, few games can come close to the fluid, fast-paced platforming Wish World can offer. At its worst, however, there are few games as frustrating as this one. 2 levels in particular (Flip Vale (expert) and World Heart) have immense difficulty spikes just before the finish, and one level (Mount Strong ((expert)) is just outright unfun. Wish World has temporary but no permanent checkpoints. Adding those would make the first two levels substantially more enjoyable, especially on a first playthrough. As for Mount Strong (expert), the gimmick (Wind constantly pushing the player to the left) is just annoying, and combining it with a long auto scroller section also doesn't help. Removing the wind would make this level less irritating, but a redesign with the focus on Wish World's main ...
