Holy hell did this game blow me away! I went in with expectations of getting a throw back LSD Dream Sim type game with elements and nods to games of that era. However what I got was a reaffirming journey about patience, perseverance, and self discovery and affirmation You are deserving. Remember that.

Hello folks, I felt compelled to write down my thoughts on Hypnagogia 無限の夢: Boundless Dreams—not just as a review, but as a thank-you. NOTE: Before we continue, HEAVY SPOILERS to those who haven't completed the game. This game is more than just visually striking or mechanically enjoyable—it’s the first game I’ve managed to finish in a very long time. That alone means more to me than I can easily put into words. From the moment I stumbled upon it during the summer sale, Hypnagogia wormed its way into my head. The surreal visual style, the variety of dreamworlds, and the genuine sense of reward for exploration captivated me. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. And despite being tight on funds, I knew I had to have it. Little did I know, that purchase would lead to over 45 hours of nearly non-stop playtime. It's very short, get it on sale if you really want it. It's hard to describe, it's a sort of an exploration game with some puzzles. I liked the atmosphere, I don't regret buying it at all, but I also can't remember anything interesting from it. Not great, but OK for a single playthrough.

It's really boring. Not worth your time.

I cannot recommend this game enough. If anyone is a fan of surreal experiences, there is no better than Boundless Dreams. Blending likable, well written entities with interesting and deep levels, Hypnagogia gets you attached and engaged with the world it has built. Plus, it has more than enough hidden secrets to discover on repeat play. Truly one of the best surreal stories I've ever had the pleasure of playing through.
