As a casual gamer and a person who never though they would like a racing game, this game is amazing. It's really addicting and it's so satisfying when you ram into other cars. There is a nice variety of game modes and mechanics to keep you invested. I also love that you can add your own music into the game. There are a ton of cars you can choose from. There's even a zombie mode that I really like. You have to keep a nice balance of money and fans. The only thing negative I can say are the "No time" races. I know you can lower the difficulty but those races are extremely difficult and sometimes frustrating.

Such a waste that the game has rubber banding.

Have had more fun in this $20 racing game than any Forza or other triple A extremely mediocre racing game that has come out in the past 7 years, highly recommend this hidden gem so long as you can ignore the very cringe story and cutscenes, although they have a certain so bad it's good charm to them. Only real criticism I have is the sound design and more specifically the engine noises, the crashes and impacts are great but the engine sounds are very lackluster, hopefully 5.0 can bump them up a bit.

The bots could use some rework. Tried the split screen version with a friend with all the bots. You either leave them behind and it's pretty much a 1 v 1 race or you crash once at the start and you won't see anyone throughout the race anymore. The catch up mechanics could use some tweaking to make it more of a fun party game.

This game always amazes me with every play session, and still surprises me with each new update they add. Very fun and solid game, with tons of stuff to do. This is a real throwback to the past with couch splitscreen co-op and an oldschool 00's soundtrack, similar to flatout and burnout. Highly recommended!

It tries really hard to be Flat Out. It delivers more in quantity but far less in quality. - Handling is extremely weird. Everything seems to either understeer or drift. No in between. - Cars feel weightless. - Frontally hitting another car has no sense of impact. It's just short a *BONK* sound effect. - Just driving on straight road sometimes comically flips your car, like an extremely over-exagerated banana peel skit. It's funny for a few times, and then it gets annoying bc you don't have any control. - Jumping 90% of the time just sends your car tumbling and rolling and skipping along for a few hundred meters, it's ridiculous. - Music pretty bland and generic. Not sure, but possibly AI generated. - Tiresome animations in menu, and unskippable cut-scenes at the start of races. - Story & setting are not really relevant to racing games, but it kinda feels like it would have been better if they weren't even there. Ignorable at best and pretty cringe at worst. Flat Out is guilty of som...
