While I like the gameplay, I need to give a negative review because of the business practice lived by the publisher. A major update (3/4 of the size of the current game) has been finished for at least 2 weeks, but instead of being released to all players, it is locked behind an additional Patreon subscription. As someone who already paid for the game, I find it unacceptable that core content updates are withheld unless players pay extra outside of the platform where the game was purchased. The reason given for not releasing a finished update is, that the roadmap needs to be up-to-date with the release of the update. The roadmap seems to be done by the publisher and not the devs but we don't know if the roadmap is worked on or not. This practice creates the impression that delays in the official roadmap are on purpose and being used to push players toward Patreon for early access, which feels unfair. I don't mind Patreon subscribers to get early access to development builds b...

Pros : you get to run an armoured vehicle design and production company, improving upon existing tank designs by copying the designs of other tank building companies. You can put foreign components on well known tank designs to make them better (or hilarious). You can sell A7Vs to British battalions if you feel your Mark Is and Mark Vs are still lacking or expensive (because it's funny) or sell Churchills with reverse-engineered foreign guns and engines to Germany (as long as you don't sell too much to annoy the British Army...) Cons : Where to begin? Slow updates, if there is any at all... There's also some designs not given a chance to shine (where are the Crusader, the Panther, and the KV-1 and the KV-2 tanks? Where are the ARL 44 and M6 Heavy designs? And that's just the tank designs that came from the 5 nations available, not to mention other tank designs from outside the 5 countries available.). Tank destroyers don't exist in WW2 era according to this game (the closest thing ...
Its a pretty half baked empty game. I wouldn't really call it a game even. You just click stuff and wait. click and wait, click and wait. Don't bother.
I cannot recommend this game. I initially went in looking for something like Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts but with tanks. To say I was off the mark would be putting it lightly. There are some promising aspects to this game but the parts that shine through are buried under mountains of negatives. Pros. - I think the one thing I can truly highlight is the concept of stealing designs and vehicles from other nations. - Being able to design, produce, and sell armored vehicles you designed to pretty much any nation is cool. Cons. 1. Shallow Research and Design Systems -You are locked into historical, linear tech trees with no room for alternate-history or experimental designs. -Unable to research multiple branches at once, which feels unrealistic and restricts strategic depth. -All components are tied to comprehensive vehicle unlocks. ie. hulls and engines are researched in full with several included components. All of which have very marginal impact on overall performance and are entir...
Still new. But weirdly addictive
While I, (for the most part), enjoyed this game, it has it's downsides. This game has a LOT of potential, and I'm hoping as the devs continue expanding the length of the game that they take a little time to iron out some of the aggravations. One of the biggest annoyances in this game is the mass/volume limits of the tanks. You spend a lot of time designing a tank, and when you submit it you get told it's over the mass limit, (it's too heavy). So you spend a bunch of time redesigning the tank, putting in lighter parts, only to be told when you submit the tank that you are over the volume limit, (the lighter parts take up more room inside the tank). I never was able to successfully design a tank. I was able to use the espionage twice to steal competitors designs, that I was then able to submit as my own. That got me all the way through. It was annoying when I stole the design for the T-34, but even submitting that exact design as my own, I was over both the mass and volume...
great game, Just wish they would add more to the cold war era at least. cool concept.
Cool idea but it's unfinished and bare.
