I don't remember why I got this game in the first place, maybe because I liked the pixel art and the fights in the trailers and gameplay I saw. it's been sitting in my library for a while and today I gave it a try. I would like the time I spent on it back please. However the controls are so jankey and the movement is so terrible to the point that the game can't even be properly enjoyed to begin with. This is honestly terrible. Jumping often lags, the button doesn't respond, weird control scheme and a UI that's made for ants. The game doesn't respond to multiple inputs at once. You can't jump and press the movement button, it just makes you jump in a straight line. You have to be moving then jump (that fails too btw). Jumping near a ledge would 9/10 get you stuck in place. This results in taking damage, and losing your run since yep, you can't dodge nor change your position fast enough.
