About This Game

A retro style party based RPG smashing together concepts from several of my favorite games!
Build and name a party of 3, then 6 characters with a large selection of male and female (few cats too) character avatar sprites.
Explore the 15 levels of the dungeon to protect the people of Airi from the secret threat contained within.
Many original music tracks throughout!

Jobs:
  • Combine any number of the 40 jobs on each character.
  • Each job has Active, Reactive, and Passive skills.
  • Only the 2 assigned jobs Active skills will be available during combat.
  • Gain JP from battles for your 2 currently active jobs.
  • Spend JP on skill levels OR your mastery bar for stats, hp, energy, and to unlock reactive and passive skills.
  • Find combinations of jobs that complement each other through damage type synergies, damage type buffs, heals, damage shields, pets, and a few wacky effects!

Dungeon:
  • Find switches, levers, and fake walls to uncover previously blocked pathways.
  • Avoid many traps set in place to hinder your progress including fire, lightning, arrows, cannons, elemental whirlwinds, bubble guns, and more!
  • Procedurally generated items from chests and monsters, with random weightings towards different stats along with random bonuses.
  • Every non-boss monster has at least 1 rare item they can drop!

Approximately 20-30h for a single playthrough.
Game is definitely best played with a controller!

Very cool Dungeon Crawler with great class-based RPG depth!! I gave it a quick test spin and am saving it for another time, so don't let my low playtime fool you. This is a competently made RPG, something like 40 total classes to learn and level-up skills in, mixing and matching while tackling an ever-deepening dungeon with quests, puzzles and surprises all over! Don't let the RPGMaker look fool you either, this is a 'real' RPG with some interesting systems and fun exploration. Thanks dev(s) for the cool game!

The game isnt terribly complex; but there is fun in the complexity present. The areas / maps are relatively small (or at least I thought so)--which makes navigation without an 'in game' map fairly manageable. The quests that drive the narrative are usually straight forward and obvious and serve their purpose of advancing ever higher 1s and 0s for you to fight against. I played through on Extreme mode and I can confirm that the hardest boss / encounter in this game is going to be the various traps that litter the dungeon. This can be quite frustrating; but the saving grace is that the game lets you save anywhere. So save often; and pretty much any time you start to see trap projectiles flying across the screen. Otherwise; combat flow and character progression is really just dictated by how much you personally are willing to grind. So difficulty will vary from person to person and team composition to team composition; but ultimately if you're willing to put in a few hours grinding--you...

I like this game. There is an interesting character customization system - you assign main and secondary job out of 40 different ones. Each job gives you ability to use 2-3 Active skills. While those jobs are assigned you gain JP and 2/3 of them goes into the main job, 1/3 into the secondary one. After you gain enough you can spend JP either to level up mastery of the job which gives you stats or to level up or buy skills. At 15 mastery you gain access to Reactive skill, at 30 mastery you gain access to Passive skills which can be used even without a job being assigned. So effectively you have access to 2 sets of active skills, 1 reactive skill and 2 passive skills (I think there are two because Help section mentiones two keys which can be used to assign them but I didn't get there yet) to customize your character class. Enemies drop some equipment related to them, like Brittle Spider Fang or Brittle Web Shield from Angry Arachnid on floor 1. Which can be used to further customize yo...
