Going to start out by saying, there is so much clicking your mouse and the E key. I had to quit because it is very painful after a short amount of time if you have Diabetic neuropathy and/or Arthritis. This game needs auto gather to let disabled people play it, with a little less pain and discomfort.

Relaxing and pretty game but not for fast paced people and nice so far seeing building without nails and some details. But in my opinion still need a lot of optimization as i have to use lossless scaling to make the game around 60+ so yeah i hope they fix that soon. i sadly had to move review to NO in recoomendation i keep facing bugs here and there and seems no updates or news of updates about them from dev as they are silent steam and discord. yes will continue playing the game anyway as its relaxing in a way but still no recommending due to hating these bugs p-p

So the game is good with decent building mechanics, (bring material to spot and place to build) but it does have its downsides. its slightly survival where you need to manage your water, food and health on a constant basis, water being the most prevalent on all stages. the major disappointments that everyone brings up are the workers that you bring to your village. the issue I had was that I could not select a job for someone when the building exist. I dont know why, it just wouldn't do it. also you will never get a self fulfilling cycle of food for workers. so that means taking time from building for time to craft food so that your workers auto craft stuff. I am unaware if the workers get the buffs or not or if certain food lasts longer ( i.e. pearl mullet locking food and water bars from dropping for 10 min.) all in all it was relaxing and enjoyable to see everything get built so if you can get past the weaknesses, then you might enjoy this game.

3.5 hours at the time of posting this review. i'm giving this game the thumbs up, because i love building games, and this one fits my resume as it were. if your looking for a relaxing game based around ancient china, the chinese wall, etc, then this is for you, if you are one of these, I WANT IT NOW, then this is NOT FOR YOU. the game feels very grindy, need wood? cut down a tree, need stone.. well you get the idea, i'm not sure about the longevity of this game, but for under 30aud and full release, with post release updates you cant go wrong, normally i wouldnt touch anything that hasnt had time to cook in ea, given that it's not a AAA title, my suggestions for additional content would be: the ability to stack scaffolding to get to to higher parts you just cant reach otherwise. having trees/bamboo regrow, or respawn, so you at least have a steady supply of materials in that respect, same with sand and clay, in conclusion, no issues with game crashes or freezeups to date (unr...

Love the building and scavenging mechanics, it's so peaceful yet engaging. The idea of cooking your own food and gazing out to the mountain or watching the river stream through the meadow as you eat is a therapeutic experience. I'm excited to continue expanding my settlement, however I only wish this game had steam achievements and trading cards! Achievements are often a big selling point for completionists.

Genuinely one of the worst games I've played. Game hasn't been updated in a month so its likely abandoned. Main problem with the game is its heavily unbalanced when it comes to resource collection/usage and villagers are absurdly useless. If the numbers were tweaked and villagers expanded upon, it could actually become a fun building game where you build up your village as you complete structures. As it stands now it is highly unrewarding and just feels tedious since you can't even rely on villagers. The biggest bug I've encountered is that while swapping between 2 locations, it will wipe all progress made until the last autosave in the previous location. So if you go from your village to the wall, and then back, any work you made on the wall could just get reverted for literally no reason. Its an insane bug that makes no sense and is why I'm not touching this game again, until the devs unabandon it. Also a good thing worth nothing, the construction is underwhelming. I thought...

Absolutely not fit in its current state. Half baked tutorials. Points where it seems just plain broken, crashes and the most tedious building system ever designed.

This is my type of relaxing game. It's so nice to see structures come together into something beautiful and know how they were made. I'm always looking forward to the updates! 💙

Just completed all 6 nuilds at 26 hours playtime. Short but sweat. A little too heavy on the "china is so great" side. But considering the theme its ok. Had fun and price is ok !
