Mage Tower

I will have to review this at the moment as "Not Recommended" because the game feels like early access rather than a finished game, as if had been rushed for release. The lack of a proper tutorial also make things very difficult, not to mention the dev is not active in the discussion forum of the game to give us some tips. I wasted a lot of time having to pixel hunt after getting stuck just to find out that the UI was blocking the view of a way I should take - bad design. Also the game is too cryptic about how to use skills or items that contain skills. For example I am stuck now at a boss fight that needed a grimoire called Storm Hammer. Ok I bought the thing at the forest camp but still can´t beat the enemy. You try to use the skill button and you get an error message saying that the item does not contain a skill, which is incorrect - So, this makes the game feel broken or bugged.

Action platforming does not mix well with magic tower. Traps serve to slow down your progress by forcing you to wait 10 seconds every screen. In an magic tower genre filled with backtracking, this becomes annoying quickly.

to early to write a proper review, but i posted my concerns in the discussions area and posted a video on my youtube channel Lunar D8 .....but yea too early to say, but i cant record it for a lets play and i have concerns about user interface and how you exit the game, i am still looking forward to doing a blind lets play one day, also the i had concerns about norton telling me it didnt have a valid signature and the protagonist not being what i expected, i was expecting anime girl and instead i get a sprite that reminds me of one of the main characters of a gory korean horror game called demonophobia named reese
