I can say with certainty that i love this game and there are a ton of things that make this game really enjoyable, including the squadron mechanic, which makes you feel like you are in command of your own unique raider group. However there are also a lot of problems. i will say that the AI for the larger ships you can have is questionable. having destroyers or a tender with you is awesome and for a PT group is more of a force exponent than multiplier. But the AI for those larger ships needs improvement, The AI seem to prefer to more or less sit there and take any artillery, bombs or gunfire the Japanese throw at it instead of even attempting evasion. meaning most times with a John. C or bigger ship, you will get into one engagement and lose it, and suddenly you've just wasted 40,000 RP. The assault mechanic is an interesting take on a classic game of tug of war although again, theres some major room for improvement, again on the AI side. it works by you and your group raiding enemy d...

I enjoy it a lot. I recommend SplatterCat's Youtube video to see if you'd like it.
If you liked both Waves of Steel and the original Victory at Sea, as different as those things are, then safely buy this, you'll definitely like it. It's definitely still WIP, but there's plenty there to enjoy as of writing this. Plus, I love the faces.
Really cool sandbox game, just a few feedback points: - as of now higgins boats dont unload their troops once they land on a beach. the developer has seen my feedback on that and stated it'll be touched up in the future, nice to see they're active and listening! I know time is the enemy, but it'd be cool if enemy bases had infantry in foxholes or trenches that the higgins boat infantry have to fight once they land on the beach itself. it doesnt have to be anything crazy in depth, just some small arms AI combat while you rain fire down along the trenches. - I think the auto-targeting system is a bit weird and i'd like to see an optional toggle to free-aim the main guns, akin to how you can hit "V" to aim and fire special weapons on the boat. the auto target works most of the time, but having the ability to choose one target and stick to it without accidentally locking 1-3 other boats near the one you're aiming at would be really nice. (targeting planes in particular can be annoying wh...
Fun Naval combat game.
Fun game, mount and blade boats. One bug thats bugging me is when u pause in battle and your boat bounces under water killing your crew. i think the longer u pause the higher the bounce
Love this game and the devs just keep making it better i will say i would be cool to have more games like this. Like one where your a catalina pilot would be a cool one or just have them as support in the game
It's so fun..... Just try it.
