Shashingo: Learn Japanese with Photography

As a beginner, this has been a really fun tool for expanding vocabulary. If most of this is new to you too, I'd suggest breaking it into sections and taking a few photos at a time, then use the quiz game to master that set before taking more photos.

This game really helped me memorize Japanese words and sentences and phrases too!! I played it for almost 4 hours! I loved this game, I recommend you guys to try it out. At first, I thought it was bad, but when I checked the reviews, I tried it out...Thanks to Shashingo and the owner, I loved this game. I'll play it daily now.

It is a good game for learning some basic Japanese. It will be helpful for beginners learning vocabulary. It is simple but effective. The game makes the learning fun and relaxing. There are 145 photographable words and around 250 related vocab on the backs of the photo flash-card.

The scenery is amazing, the music is amazing, and the way the lessons are taught is easy to follow! ALSO. LABELING THE VERBS. THANK YOU!!!! Every dev on this team deserves lifetime supplies of whatever sweet treat they want

Brought this to go along with my Japanese studies, and just a few minutes in its already proven to be an amazing and fun investment and distraction. A nice way to take a break from the books! It combines my studies with my love for photography, making the gameplay simple and easy to understand with no frustrations. The world, while small, it is crammed full of small and large details and objects that are fun to search for all set against a vibrant and stylised aesthetics. The flash card mini game is also a great addition, I can't wait to take more pics to then come back a day later to see how good my memory is! Aside from that the game runs perfectly at a locked 60fps, and the music is also very chill and nice to listen to! If the developers read this; you've done a fantastic job with this game and would love to see a sequel or dlc with a new location!

A lot of love has been put into this game, it's so relaxing to play and looks beautiful. The game level is small but there is a lot packed into it and it's done very well. I'm around JLPT N3 level and while this game is aimed more at beginners I have still had a great time exploring the city and picked up some vocab I wasn't familiar with. I particular like the find mode, especially for listening practice, it's very useful.

Very neat and informative little game with nice visuals that really makes you learn and think. It makes the learning process very simple and you get a lot of basics down. Highly recommend if this is something that seems interesting to you!
