Why is it so empty? There are much better options out there. Even for early access, this is just an empty shell of nothing.

If you look into the inside of buildings they are just empty shells with a couple of boxes. Boring, snooze fest with stock assets.
Poor attempt at an asset flip, Free map and zombies, not a lot of updates 100% waste of time and money, theres no story, or really anything to do other than collect all the bullshit items they have zombies are easy as hell, its stupid easy to get guns and again no story so youre just kinda aimlessly roaming around a dead map with no content
I hate to crap on an indie game but good lord is this game just a big old nothing sandwich. A bunch of free assets put together with no real direction, no loot, and no players. It's so empty and devoid of content that I asked for a refund 3 years after purchasing it.
It's fun for a bit, the exploration is nice, the moving around and being able to actually get over obstacles is always a good touch. There are lots of things to collect, and some decent crafting. The gun building is fun, but being able to recycle the unwanted parts would be nice, but not a big deal. Melee could be better, but its fine. Being able to take over a building or build your own base is nice. I know the game isn't done yet, so i wont nitpick too hard, but there are some basic things that the game should have released with or been implemented within 3 years. Being able to build a solar farm would be nice to help keep the base lit up. I do have some gripes. No sleep mechanic. Driving around is decent, but the vehicles need lights. They are useless after dark. The controls are not completely intuitive. Flashlight being Z instead of L, for example. Zombies being able to phase through vehicles to attack you is awful. I'm still unsure what the leveling system is about. Sti...
UPDATE/EDITED: "Note: This review has essentially been altered and changed from it's original state prior to others having rated whether or not this review was helpful." When I originally reviewed this game I didn't recommend it for fundamental reasons that resulted in my discernment from various past experiences in playing several other games of this nature. I had even stated that it was unlikely that I'd change my standpoint on this game due to those experiences, however, after I reviewed the game without my initial recommendation the developer themselves provided what I do believe is a genuine and sincere reply to my initial review which I have chosen to believe to be so due to the myriad of observable/genuine content additions and fixes made with each version of this game as well as the empathetic and relatable nature of their reply. THE ISSUES: (Keep in mind, this game is one of the few "genuine" early access games, so don't expect perfection.) BLOB: My original review stated m...
Most buildings are still empty.
The game is well thought out, and the developer clearly cares. All the updates, trying to make things run smoothly, the sound design, it may look simple, but it is an amazing game. Personally I think it is worth the price, I love this game!
I am sure the game is fun but not being able to remove the "head bob" when walking or running makes it impossible to play more than 5 minutes without getting nauseous. The camera keeps moving up and down. I don't know why in 2025 games don't have an accessibility option to remove things like this.
Good fun.
