For a 'wrestling' game... its awful. Controls are clunky, the 'wrestling' is heavily rng dependent, the ai is genuinely terrible should you have anything other than a singles match, etc, etc. But its in that 'so bad its good' territory. Its quite hilarious to play. Hilarious, and very stupid. I typically dont play these types of games. If you're looking for a genuine wrestling experience... its not here. Though there is wrestling, and there is hilarity, but the rules make no sense and are sometimes just flat out broken, a 'first blood' match is usually just. A regular match until someone taps. The 'first blood' rule doesn't exist. Im iffy on recommending the game, though I have enjoyed my time with it, so.

About This Game
With a renewed focus on multiplayer, an intuitive "what you see is what you get" setup process invites you to create dream matches before your very eyes – throwing in as many characters & props as you can handle! Or create your own star and embark on a career to encounter up to 350 opponents across 10 different rosters in wrestling’s most epic shared universe. Make the right moves backstage as well as in the ring to fight for your worth and retire with a career worth remembering, while weekly news reports help you digest more data than ever before. Just when you think you've seen it all, you can save your changes to each roster to make the world your own and never get bored of wrestling again!
The original game now also includes a whole other booking mode at no extra cost, which challenges you to run your own promotion with a territorial twist. Assemble the best roster you can with the resources you have, and then travel the world trying to set attendance records everywhere you go! Present the right matches in the right way at the right time to maximize your impact on the ratings, whilst trying to keep a locker room full of egos from self-destructing. Everybody thinks they know better until it's time to do better...

the best wrestling game
literally the best wrestling game ive ever played, and i love wrestling
The best wrestling game ever created and the most fun. Every decision and event carry weight, some weird cool mechanics like eating and drinking and how it's done. Love it.
I've played every wrestling game in existence throughout the years. This is the most hilarious and fun game in the genre and it's not even close. Don't expect a 5 star match wrestling simulator (event though it comes very close to that experience sometimes), but its satire, randomness and endless possibilities it offers make it so much fun and addicting to play. Anything you wished you could do in a wrestling game (and then some), you can do in this game. Yes the graphics are primitive, yes the controls are clunky (just make sure you raise the speed slider to at least 130% in the camera settings and most of the clunkiness will be gone) but hugely reminiscent of legendary games like "Here Comes The Pain" and "No Mercy" and its depth, customizability, modability and fun factor are through the roof. It doesn't have AAA quality in any way or form but it offers tons and tons of soul and substance you won't find anywhere else.
It has a fun character creator that you can mess with. Every other part of the game is miserable.
10/10 Game
best free-roam wrestling game ever made
Doh... I think I'm addicted. Sometimes you love it, most times you hate it, but you can just not stop -- just like real life. p.s.: I still haven't found a RELIABLE way to get out of bed without hurting myself or others: Roll out - take damage, use taunt - hit my manager (genius) in the nuts, stand up on it and walk the edge works most times...
