AFTERLIFE

Sadly I can't recommend this game. The graphics are nice and the game runs decently on my rig, the music is good, gunplay is average but the NPC AI is atrocious and my god do they ever have way too many HP. In chapter 2 you have to kill 400 of the same zombie npc (3 different skins, same animations) and it was so time consuming and boring I almost abandoned right away but I finished it to see what was next and oh boy its not getting better. Its sad since I though the graphics (environments) looked rather nice for a one man project and wanted to see every different set piece but the NPC are so boring and tedious to kill I just couldn't play anymore. Also no mouse invert option.

The idea is interesting, the graphics are decent and the game runs well however and it's a huge HOWEVER there are so many basic issues. Gun sounds change, missing basic settings, awful AI, bullet sponge enemies, lack of ammunition, lack of emotion in the voice overs and the fact you are forced to kill 400 zombies as part of the "story" before you can progress. These are all issues I have spotted in a short amount of time playing the game but it was more than enough to stop me wanting to play any longer. If more time was put into this, it could be fun but as it is right now it's not worth your time. Hopefully there are more updates in the future. It needs some work, like a volume slider and maybe pull back on some of the HP on enemys. Some have take like 50 shot gun shells to take doing and you have to kill like 20 of them,

First off. This game proudly states that this is a Single man developing this game. Complete with his overly edgey head shot just to let you know how cool he is. And that's not bad. Props to him for doing this.He deserve respect for what he has accomplished, The game environment he has created is super detailed. And it even has decent voice acting! but that said... HE NEEDS TO FOCUS ON GAME PLAY FIRST! This game is not bad, but it definitely isn't worth the $19.99 price tag in the current state it is in at the time of this review. More like $2.00-5..00. Now it dose say he is still working on the game and so with a few changes it could be a great little game. But currently it needs some serious balancing. Enemy AI needs work and respawning. Oh man the respawning needs reworked. When you die to a mob of zombies only to revive back in the middle of the mob, combined with the fact you die in like 3-5 hits, Well lets say you have about 0.5-1 second before you need to respawn again. ...

Currently playing, had to minimize to write my review, this game is proof of a grand conspiracy on steam... One person made this game, one person, seriously, it has voice acting, wonderful visuals, a world that feels alive! The gunplay is pretty close to Call Of Duty and from what I see, the game lasts at least 4 or more hours, I would say probably around 5 on the easiest setting. 92 minutes in, I am only to chapter 5 of 15 chapters! Seriously, how is this game not making the news? It is one of, if not the most impressive Indie games I have ever seen! This game should be getting tons of reviews, tons of press, this is like a mix of old-school games like Shadow Warrior, The Duke, and of course the new and epic Ion Fury! But it also has the feel of modern ones like the remake of Syndicate or any Call Of Duty-styled shooter. I only played it a little while so far, but I liked what I saw. Impressed that one person created it. My only issue so far is that I was using the gamepad, as well as the keyboard, and when I wanted to quit the game. I couldn't seem to find the key to do that (usually it's the ESC key). I tried literally all they keys, and finally resorted to the Windows key to get out. I'm giving this game a thumbs up though. And for the current asking price of .99 cents, it's a great bargain. I'll just need to find a manual on what keys do what. I probably missed something.

Wow..great little game was more than i expected simple yet engaging graphics are cool game has a great feel,decent voice acting,weird twisted story/atmosphere. hope this game gets some traction.honestly if you can grab it for 5-10 bucks go for it !!! (not simple in gameplay wise can be unforgivingly awesome !!! ) theres another listing for this game AFTERLIFE Killing Death (same game) for 10.00 (Guessing do to several other games named afterlife)

It's pretty, it's got a cool concept, but bro it is so boring. Especially with killing a bunch of zombies with no diversity with weapons or zombie types or strategy. It's literally just shoot them and that's it.

Scammers. This is the first version of AFTERLIFE KILLING DEATH also selling on Steam. Basically both are the same game. But unashamedly the continue to sell both games.
