EDIT: YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO PLAY IT ALONE. There were scenarios where one character was in combat while the other was solving puzzles. I still think the game's more charming cooperatively, but if that's not your jam, you're in luck, and you're still my friend. The time in my review reflects the amount of time I spent playing it with my wife, plus seven minutes screwing around on my own. So yeah, it's a short game! Frankly, probably half that time was trying to work out one specific puzzle; we might have been able to beat the game in a half hour if we were really on the ball. You will play with a pal. One of you will (awkwardly!) control a human with a keyboard only, and the other will point-and-click with a mouse. On occasion, the human player will have to defend the robot, and since it's both hands on keyboard to fight, plus the mouse, you're not going to do it solo. Two against the Legion is a short local couch co-op adventure puzzle game for two players, in which you have to defeat rebellious robots and prevent a technological disaster. The players have completely different game experiences.

Fun short puzzle game
Short, but has some good ideas. You *can* play it alone, but I don't really recommend doing so. I would appreciate an expansion on the concept with some more polish. I would say that this does scratch the asymmetrical puzzle coop game itch, but it really needs more puzzles. I don't regret buying the game, but I can only recommend it to enthusiasts of the genre or casual players willing to spend about $4 for half an hour of fun with a friend or spouse.
