For this game, steam deck compatibility "verified" means "no controller support" together with the super small font size, which is barely visible. If you are satisfied with such "verified" status, please feel free to enjoy the game. Otherwise, highly not recommended.

Whys this mixed reviews? Its incredibly solid! get this dang game! even if the UI was bad which its not, a REAL train game enjoyer could figure it out

Great game! Combines all the best elements of city building and logistics management. I would love to see more features, like better insights into real-time production stats... it feels like the devs stopped working on this a year ago, what's up with that?!

A bit of mixed feelings, but after all, I think I don't regret buying it. It's addictive and once you get all the mechanics it's quite replayable for trying new strategies. The UI is usable, but sometimes frustrating as all the buildings are on one strip which changes depending on the context (cities have their own unlocks). It lacks some tooling as traffic congestion overlay or building efficiency overlay. The world generation lacks in resource variety and motivation to expand (on default settings, more often than not you get a cluster of all resources so you're only limited in train throughput). When I generate maps I usually lower the amount of generated resources to minimum and randomise until they are sparse enough for a challenge. Overall great potential with a lot of it wasted. Oh, and the "mod support from day one"? Yes, but modding API seems to be restricted to graphics mostly, so modders cannot fix the issues above.

Might be a good game, but the defective systems involved really take all the fun out of it.
