About the Game

In this adventure game you play as Henry, a young man living in Summer City who's stuck in a recurring day. Your job is to help Henry find out why he is stuck in the same day and help him get out.

There’s lots to see in Summer City. From the tall buildings to the beautiful park to the various businesses, exploration will play a key role during your experience.

The game world is set in an open world and there are several buildings that you can seamlessly walk inside of. You’ll want to pay close attention to your surroundings as some locations may offer clues as to what steps are needed to escape the recurring day.

Due to the friendly nature of the locals you’ll find that many people are willing to engage in a conversation with you. One of the main features of the game is player driven dialogue, so you’ll be able to choose Henry’s responses in certain scenarios.

Some locals may give you items if they like you or if you help them. You’ll find that an item that one person gives you may be useful to someone else. Items can be gifted or exchanged with others. Collecting and exchanging the right items will help you to discover why Henry is stuck in the same day.

Because Henry is stuck in the same day he only has one day to do everything in order to escape. Through trial and error you will need to figure out who are the right people to talk to and what items are needed so that you can take the necessary steps to escape before the day restarts.

There is a timer on the screen which represents the amount of time left until the day resets. There’s also an in-game day and night cycle which will give a good indication of when the day is about to start over. When the day resets you will end up back at Henry's apartment.

The story for this game is incredible and is most certainly the highlight of the game. This game does not hold your hand which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Personally I liked exploring the game world and finding the side quests and reading the little silly comments the characters would make. There are some minor delays in the graphics when the game world would load in certain buildings or objects. I know the developer released a patch recently that addressed some of that so I am assuming they will continue to update the game. Considering this was a solo developed game I’m thoroughly impressed as this is one of the better indie games I’ve gotten my hands on.

TLDR; Get it on sale, it's a fun sort of walking sim/ time loop game. To start, this is a fun time loop game, that is about 2 hours long. It's clearly a 1-2 people team that made the game, and it does have some wonky physics that reflect that. It is not bug ridden, but you can sequence break in this game, and they have accounted for that. I like the game, I think it's a great indy game, but I would say get it on a sale as the asking price is fairly high for what the experience is.

I initialy gave this a negative review, based on lack of keybinds and graphical features. Since then the devs released an update covering both within days, and to the degree that one would expect of current games, I'll change my review to positive. As such this review will continue with an optimistic impression of the devs' intents. I went in with the plan to test the controls on keyboard/mouse and controller and testing the graphics settings. Graphics settings nailed it! Game now plays flawlessly based on my settings, tailored to my pc. As for controls, either I messed up something bad or they're still a bit janky. Was able to certainly set keyboard/mouse just fine but the mouse would only work on the Y axis(I searched for an invert button as well but didn't find it; may have simply missed it). Pivoted to an unaltered controller setting. Joypad was inverted and replicated the same Y axis on camera pan. Update was so fast that I can see where something may have been missed, and thi...
