I just booted WarNo for the first time in ages to check out the Army General mode (which was not a thing when I last played). During the very first skirmish of the campaign, my graphics drivers crashed so hard I had to reboot my entire computer. Concerned, I did some troubleshooting only to find out that... this is considered normal in WarNo. Somewhere around five to six months ago, a rushed update to WarNo introduced an issue that causes Nvidia graphics drivers, no matter the version, to randomly die while playing WarNo. Instead of reverting the update, or fixing the issue, Eugen (the developer of WarNo) has instead decided to play the blame game. They claim a bug on Nvidia's side is causing these crashes, but even using older graphics drivers the game still freaks out at random. I can not comprehend how anyone could abide by such a game-breaking bug not getting fixed after at least FIVE MONTHS of being present. The constant deflection to "it's Nvidia's fault" is neither helpful...

Game is largely suffering from stability problems, unexpected crash or freeze may occur without any warning at any time when you are playing game. - The incompetent EUGEN developers are incapable to solve long time going issue with "freeze" bug, which lasts unsolved for almost 6 months ! - The solution of updating video card drivers or reverting to old version of drivers did not solved my problem, other game owners report about the same issues. - Almost after every new major update there is a new major bug, which brings - game killing bug, which will result a fatal game crash to your desktop. It seems EUGEN isnt able to test game updates properly before the release, which is a sign of incompetence management at EUGEN. If this game is on your wishlist , please be warned that the game is broken and may not run well on your machine, especially if your machine is equipped with NVIDIA RTX video card.

Decent game single player is fun. But come on month bans from online play for what you say in chat? Meanwhile little Tommy can leave the second the game starts and join another lobby and grief the team and he isn't banned? Yes ruining the game for the team is fine but what you say isn't got it. Multiplayer is borderline unplayable half the time with leavers anyway can't recommend in that state. New DLC comes with overpowered rocket drones especially broken on small maps for fob sniping. Ultra balanced imo

Need F14 to balance MIG31.V-22 is required. In reality, it made its first flight in 1988. According to the tense situation in the game, it is completely possible to serve in advance.

Lets start this review by saying this is the best, most realistic(feeling) sinle player realtime tactical wargame there is. I´ve played a lot of the competitors first, Regiments, Broken Arrow and Combat Missions and Armored Brigade but none of them can match the Army General strategic campaign or the gameplay and feeling of realism on the tactical combat. After saying that it is a real shame Eugen treats single player content as the unwanted step child its pretty clear their focus is on the multiplayer. Most grievous issue is with Army General saves when the game updates, it very often breaks the save especially if you have a mod enabled. And of course there is the recent decision to release Southag without its single player portion. This is probably really good game if you are into competitive multiplayer, but seeing how their priority is not SP at all I cant recommend it for single player only currently.

I’ve been playing since release in Early Access and followed the game through its long development. As an Early Access buyer, I was promised certain features and rewards — but those promises were only delivered to people who bought the 1.0 release. We Early Access supporters got nothing. Eugen later apologized, but instead of making things right for those of us who supported the game from the start, they gave new perks (like early access to future expansions) only to Expansion Pass owners. It feels like the original community that believed in this game early on was left behind. Really disappointing way to treat your earliest supporters.

Fix the bugs so I can play and ill give it a positive rating

Its extremely fun roasting c o m m i e s in the forest with napalm... or for a really good time, play flight of the valcarie's with an attack helicopter rush... good fun for the whole family.

At the current state of the game multiplayer wise, for low player matches 1v1 3v3 Nato is somewhat competitive with their slightly superior infantry and smart micro ing. Where the game breaks is when you attempt higher population games. PACT's ability to field so many cheap and overperforming (Range, FirePower, Accuracy) units overwhelms the expensive and under performing NATO units. I understand from a historical standpoint NATO was somehwhat less prepared for the imaginary attack. Their doctrine relied heavily on artillery and mobile infantry and plentiful SPAA. Sure they get that advantage but why do the things that NATO focused on are significantly inferior to ingame counter parts? In opinion the only place where NATO could possibly win is in INFANTRY TOW units and HELI Hellfires. All other aspects of the division are clearly outmatched. For balancing purposes I dont understand, for a period of time I decided to play PACT and a great majority every game I was winning, economically ...
