[b]While I understand this is a solo developer project, Midnight Driver is dead in all aspects & is not worth the price of admission.[/b] There are no other cars on track outside of an extinct multiplayer mode. You can only race against yourself in a time trial fashion but there are no ghost racers to represent your best time & track records aren't saved outside of active gameplay. You start with a Toyota AE86 that you must use on the downhill track to earn money, other iconic vehicles (under different names due to legality) & tracks are available to select but they have to be purchased first. [b]That being said despite their appearance on the store page & in still images, the maps & vehicles feel indefinably empty & devoid of life during actual gameplay.[/b] The cars don’t react well to keyboard controls, the actual inputs are slapped into the options screen with no options to rebind them.
