About This Game

Somniphobia: causes extreme anxiety and fear around the thought of going to bed. This phobia is also known as hypnophobia, clinophobia, sleep anxiety, or sleep dread.
Somniphobia is a single player physiological survival horror game, where you’re in control of Susan's nightmares. Her nightmares are filled with past traumas and bad memories. You must keep those thoughts and nightmarish figments of her imagination away from you, since once they get too close, Susan will wake up, and she’ll have the same dream again.
You must think, and try out different ideas if you are to survive all of Susan’s nightmares. You'll have to crawl through claustrophobic vents, creep down corridors, escape and survive in a nightmarish, hand-painted world of Susan's imagination.
Crawl through claustrophobic vents
Luckily this is still just a dream... however this means that sections of this cold dark, maze changes over time.Stay alert constantly!
Monsters will creep up this hallway if you are not concentrating.Keep all of those nasty thoughts and memories away from you!
Use 'cameras' to look into Susan's memories to keep track of where all the monsters are lurking. With only a small battery for your torch, a creature that moves towards you whenever you look behind yourself, and with the ability to only close off one vent at a time, you must carefully watch these unwanted memories to avoid wasting your resources... or getting jump scared!Screenshots

This is an amazing game and I'm shocked it's just $1. It plays like a mix of several FNaF games with the monitors, flashlight, and vents. I gladly would have paid more for this game. The game gives you barely enough flashlight battery to make it through the night and you have to be very fast to win the later levels. The story is very dark and the game is quite disturbing. My only complaint is that I played through the entire game, and for some reason, I didn't unlock any of the achievements.
I REALLY enjoyed this game, legitimately in my top 10 of this year! But, like all indie horror games, it does have its flaws, however, the creepy moments, super cool art style, and genuine disgust i got from some scenes outshine it all! Pros: LOVE the art style! Some scenes are suoer creepy while not relying on jumpscares Cons: Story can be a bit all over the place Very short game the creepiest scenes are in the trailer which sucks Overall rating: 8.5/10, one of the best of the year! Edit: Nominated for best visual style!
I got this game early on gamejolt also i know the developer but I'm gonna be completely bias... THIS GAME IS SHI- JK this game is genuinely one of the scariest games i have played ever yes it does give off FNAF vibes but that is because of the camera system, look beyond though, it has a good story I'm only on dream 3 and i can see that already I recommenced getting this game and i hope you enjoy it if you do.
Although disappointing for it to turn out as a Fnaf "clone", this game is still very good and has many great tricks and moments up it's sleeve to elevate itself above most others and leave it's own unique mark. The art style and quality of the in-between night sections are enough to distinguish it and make me wish there was more of them rather than the fnaf-styled gameplay. I'll be looking forward to whatever this developer might make next.
This game was awesome! Speed ran it a little bit but definitely got spooked by that camera jump!
I guess it's a nice game; afterall I can't complain too much considering it's price. However saying it's "rough around the edges" would be an underestimation. I really like the concept and I can see that there was a lot of work put into it. It has some cool mechanics and a pretty decent and interesting story. However, the "main" gameplay (so said surviving the nights) is really plain. It's really just the same thing over and over with barely any difficulty changes and it just gets boring at some point. Then, at the 8th night (which should be the last, I think) the difficulty shifts and it's sweatingly hard to win. The only enjoyable parts of the game are the intersections with the story-telling, but I don't think I would pay even this small price for just that. I also had some trouble when I first started playing it. When the second night came, the UI changed to something different (maybe a demo or beta version) and it was completely broken. I had to re-install the game for it to...
Screechy random jump scares are not suspenseful. You can literally include a type of music that all horror movies/narrations use (DMC proof too) that instills the same anxiety without having screen jump scares.
Was a fine enough FNAF clone until I got to the 8th and possibly final night. At this point the difficulty spikes beyond a ridiculous degree to the point where it's unwinnable. It seems like the game starts disrespecting it's own rules to the point where success here seems more like luck, especially given the unpredictable nature of the enemies. Half my playtime was likely attempting that final level, and I've had enough. Not recommended.
