About This Game

Our debut title, "The Tower of Wowers", brings toilet humor to soaring new heights as you valiantly fight in beautiful turn based combat through such diabolical terrors as Acid Trip, Claug : The Shit Dragon, Ghost Made of Human Skulls and the dreaded, Ian (among many others). Think you can defeat the Tower?

This game features :

•Plenty of unique enemies, some bosses or even RAID bosses with over 100 items, armour and weapons to collect!

•Battle in the rain or snow! We almost broke the budget with these 2 in-game weather features!!

•Recruit 5 or more (if you choose) characters with the Character Recruitment System as you climb up the tower (total of 8 characters to play!).

•After finishing climbing the tower you get access to a Elevator! Select your floor and go, no more stairs!

•Traditional turn-based combat with new and clearly superior Retro Sideview Combat!

•After completing the game you can recruit a few enemies to your group! Holy shit that's amazing!

•Speaking of shit did we mention that you collect them for currency?! How exciting!

•Even defeat some *Shit* Variants of enemies in battle (special versions of them) including ExPOOsed Brain Cat, Gateway from the PEEyond and more!

TL;DR: "The Tower of Wowers" is a parody sh*tpost game showcasing a ton of grotesque and bizarre hand-drawn enemy designs all within a tower-crawling game revolving around all things fecal matter. Featuring unique enemy designs, specially-made music, and fairly challenging boss fights, this strange game that oozes hallucinogenics stands out among the crowd as offering a truly different type of RPGMaker experience, being just sh*tpost enough to work while still maintaining a level of video game design passion that makes it oddly charming in a way. ------------------------------------------------- "The Tower of Wowers" is the debut title of NecroCatic Games (although with this game, it really should be NecroScatic Games). A sh*tpost game in all possible ways, we follow the scantily clad hero Hairold as he goes up the strange Tower of Wowers, encountering tons of bizarre and grotesque enemies along the way. The unique part about this game is its hand-drawn enemies, all of which are just...

I don't know what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. In the best way of course. Pancake slayed the music. Custom artwork is 10/10. Eat shit, in the game I mean, that's the only way to survive.

I have only played it for 3 hours, but I like it so far. Very light grinding, but content change very fast, that the game is fun non the less. Funny and interesting. I will write a more detailed review when I finish the game.

i like that the level design and layout resemble some of the more classic jrpg games(like chrono trigger), and for those that are curious yes it is kinda grindy but i find that's just part of the fun of the genre , very well written (although off putting if you dislike toilet humor) the animations are smooth and polished and i would highly recommend this game if you are fans of the genre

Tower of Wowers from Necrocaticgames. This game has it all. Hand drawn monsters, Custom music, traps. The high school bathroom humor in this game is epic. Run around and collect shit to spend on items. Epic battles, magic, skills. Necrocaticgames delivered a GRAVY EPIC ADVENTURE. I highly recommend this game.

As I launched this game, someone got curious and asked if they could watch. Neither of us knew what to expect and we were met with hours of entertainment and we bore witness to what can only be described as true art. The combat was really boring up until the point where you started finding really overpowered weapons and party members, the true strength of this game is the dumb sense of humor it has and it's ability to keep you on the edge of your seat and excited for whatever crazy thing is coming next. It took me about 4 hours to experience everything the game had to offer minus some things i might have missed and some enemies i would have needed to really grind for. For just a few dollars i think it's an amazing experience to share with someone you want to confuse.

Lots of lewd tongue in cheek humor with a decently balanced combat system. The warning about the elevator being wonko at the end however is *no joke*. Save, lest you get teleported to some floor that looks like space and only has a flying ship, an actual ship, and ... row boat? Regardless, once there you can't escape and have to reload your save. Aside from that one issue so far, I've enjoyed it immensely.

Honestly, this is only the second game I've ever had enough interest in to attempt a speedrun. I've held the world record briefly and then lost it. I'm attempting to get it back. This game is SO worth the cost it's insane. It's entirely made in RPG maker and outrageously simple, yet somehow one of the most brilliant games I've ever played. 100% of the dialogue (and most of the items) are nothing but toilet humor, and that somehow adds to the charm. 10/10, would recommend.
