«The Frosts: First Ones»
Adventure/Exploration/Walking simulator/Environmental Puzzle/Interactive story/Point &Click/Sci-Fi Gameplay: https://youtu.be/KwDpOKXIby0 Most of gameplay is spent exploring the game’s environments for items and talking to people in order to move the story forward. It’s a walking simulator for the most part, sure, but it’s a cool. The world and its characters are rendered in 3D with a retro aesthetic that gives game a lot of personality. I can recommend it fans of story-based gaming experiences. You won't find yourself challenged, but you’ll have a good time, find yourself enthralled and enjoying the atmosphere. It is a beautiful experience all the way through.
A game where you need to save a friend and explore a new world
You will have to establish contact with the aliens and help the local animal adapt to difficult conditions. Learn to cope with local weather changes and survive without insurance or special equipment. The main thing is to unravel the secret of why the strangers came and save the local population from the threat - imaginary or real. The game has a very beautiful music he game is beautiful, the font can be attributed to minor flaws - to me personally, it did not seem very clear.
Bleh, no. There is next to nothing that was well done with this game and i am sad to say that i was not able to enjoy playing it at all. This is what i absolutely hated in my time with "the frosts: first ones" - the graphics are meh. all environments are bland and boring, white or blue over white or blue. a handful of animals in an attempt to make it more interesting and alive. the character models all look the same, like ugly little fall guys knockoff characters - controlls are meh. you can choose between keyboard and mouse for controls. both work to a degree but jumping is not well done and feels extremely laggy. in addition, the character will get stuck EVERYWHERE. that is not a huge problem normally but here you have a sequence where you have to flee and you'll get stuck on rocks, plants, invisible walls, other characters, everything - the dialogue is brainless and boring. it is often used to describe feeling and actions but in such an emotionless way that it doesn't add anything o...
You can finish The Frosts in under 2 hours. You play as Berak in search of your hunter friend. You click and walk your way through the dialogue and the winter forest. Sadly the dialogue seems forced and the story contradicts itself pretty often. Berak mentions he has supplies for only 5 days, which means he has to find his friend in the next 2 days before heading back to his village. But instead of following his trail Berak stays one whole day contemplating how to climb that rock (he does nothing special btw, he just climbs it) and another day nursing a deer back to health. Both the climbing and the care for the deer is done by clicking numbered hands on the screen with no indication on which number ist the right, you just have to know or try. Then you have collect 25 wood twice by looking around and searching for the white hands on the screen ... in the white snow. While you're moving like a damaged tank. The story also lacks any kind of interesting features, it just gets confusing an...
In The Frosts: First Ones, we need to find our friend and experienced hunter Hendrick. The game itself is very beautiful and atmospheric. The musical accompaniment here is wonderful. The plot here is interesting, even there are puzzles. I can definitely say that the game should cost more than it is. I recommend it!
Explore a scenic land of ever-winter looking for your missing friend in this interactive narrative. I love the attention to nature in this game. As you hike though the beautiful and mysterious landscapes, animals will jump out and fly away. There were also descriptions for some of the plant life. It was cool. The game play has a chill exploration vibe with a few events, challenges, and puzzles along the way. I struggled to know where to go at times, but eventually found my way. The environment was pretty to look at, so I didn't mind having to really explore to find my way. This game has a short length, but a very reasonable price. If you like the idea of taking a nature hike though captivating environments while unraveling age old mysteries, give this game a shot!
This is a masterpiece among games of this genre. There are small bugs, but compared to the general level of implementation, they are not significant
A very interesting adventure in a permafrost setting. You are a hunter who has to make your way through a winter forest full of dangers and find your lost comrade who wandered into the valley of spirits. Can you handle it? Very nice winter forest atmosphere. A leisurely journey. But rather awkward controls. You never know where the hunter will pass without interference, and where he will get stuck and stay in place. And this is important to know when you have to run away from a wild boar or a bear. In general, the game makes a very pleasant impression.
For the most part, this is a 3D walking simulator with a retro aesthetic that gives the game a lot of personality. The game is beautiful and atmospheric. The musical accompaniment is good. The plot is normal. I recommend!
A real good classic game. I'll start with my only complaint is that I wish that the description said this was more of a rich storyline or visual novel. The graphics are great! Speaking of storyline, I haven't play one that is similar to this game which is a nice take on this society. Though is is sort of linear play, its interesting to explore open ground.
