Potato Flowers in Full Bloom

Don't let the budget presentation fool you. This game is full of depth and smart game design. Combat is the real seller, it's highly strategic because you always know what the enemy is going to do and timing is deterministic, yet there is also a lot of build variety, and it feels like just about any class or team has room to shine. Exploration is also very smart, it feels satisfying to carve your way through the dungeon and open shortcuts, where you try to see how far you can stretch your limited resources, it kinda evokes a little dark souls in that way. The labyrinths are fun to explore and packed with secrets and optional optional content. There's also quite a lot of variety between the different areas, which each have their own gimmicks preventing things from feeling stale. Most of the mechanics have been well oiled, but you will find the occasional annoyance from things like area retraversal or torch management (to be honest I don't know why that's even part of the game). excellent in many ways

This game is a really simple, charming dungeon crawler and RPG. The combat mechanics are tight, and reminds me somewhat of a puzzle. The story is subtle, and simultaneously low and high stakes simultaneously somehow. Would definitely recommend for people who like this sort of game.

This game is great, very cozy, simple and clean. drip feeds you story and world lore as you explore. Check out the demo for yourself and you'll want to pick up the full game once your done.

I rarely review games, but I have to say something nice about Potato Flowers in Full Bloom. It's practically perfect. I wish there were more games in this mold.
