The story of Freeride is shaped by your decisions, both Conscious and Unconscious. Go looking for a fight and you’ll find one. Want drama? There’s pllllllenty of that <3 Don’t forget! The game is always watching you, and your Personality Outcome awaits at the end.
But no stress, there are no good or bad ways to play the game.
On each playthrough you will only see about a third of the full game. Each character helps you explore a facet of your personality, and your subconscious biases will have a real effect on their endings. Make your choices and play through your own adventure, then start a second run and rewrite history.

If they wanted to make a narrative focused game, they should have just stuck to the story and include janky and glitchy combat.
the idea of the game is amazing, i've had it in my wishlist for years. and as i started playing i genuinely enjoyed the expirience. but the amount of bugs and glitches MONTHS after the release is freaking insane. i've spend money on this and therefore i kiiinda want this game to work. but i can't even finish it. i'm super mad for my time being wasted on restarting again and again just to stay stuck in the exact same spot once again. i left the game for a month or so in hope for some patch notes or smth but there were NONE since i've send a couple of bug reports. what's worse is that i can't even make a refund anymore. so i dunno, go watch a walkthrough if needed but do not spend your money on this.
I played well past the morning and into the day — until the sound stuttered, stopped. Eventually I went through a doorway that led to an unceasing loading, so I decided that was the sign to stop. But I will be back. I must. The train will come around again, after all. Because in that time I have been cursed with the Knowing of the stories contained within, and curiosity has turned to hunger. Every thread must be pulled until it unravels, every character is mine to fall in love with and destroy. Since I can no longer know nothing I must know everything. FREERIDE is not the next Undertale. This is not for lack of heart. So I shall gladly take a piece of it with me, where its themes and the methods to its madness can entertain me on the same shelf in my mind. I am not the one being tested. I am the one conducting.
It’s an interesting and fun concept. I feel like it reveals a different part of your personality than a standard personality test does because this one is more action-based. It was fun to play through and fun to get my results! I do wish that there was a way to save your results, though (maybe there is and I just missed it). Also, combat can be a little weird, I’d recommend not using a trackpad if you’re playing on a laptop.
