If you are a tower defence fan seeking something fresh and exciting, this game is not for you. You can have 3 abilities, and what only really matters is accelerate. Pick whatever tower you like - heck you can pick anything at random - and just start upgrading. My gameplay has been consisting of upgrading (with accelerate) for the first half then doing the mandatory upgrades every 30 seconds - while doing something else off game. The bacteria-like creatures are really adorable, though.

One of the better Tower Defense titles I have played, although it may take a few runs to work out the best "combined arms" approach (You really need to consider the forward and back positions). The mix of your 30 second upgrades combined with corresponding enemy upgrades is an interesting approach and needs to be thought through. The addition and mix of the 3 abilities is a positive addition. The graphics are good as is the music - I really like the screen shaking for explosions. Has that compulsive "one more try aspect", particularly when you are trying to work out your initial approaches. The developer has also proved very responsive and helpful to queries.

Slow and plodding, and it interrupts you every few seconds for upgrade selections. There is no satisfying connection sounds or animations when the projectiles hit, they just pass on through for the most part.

Don't pay attention to the haters... this is a fun and interesting game! IF it's what you are looking for... read on to see if it fits you. The graphics are simplistic so if you're looking for a lot of flashy oooh's and aaaah's you might want to keep moving, but the action is smooth and I find watching the combat unfold satisfying from an overall kinetic and tension and satisfaction-building standpoint. It is NOT meant for a few minutes game play in between daily tasks, as are many smart phone style games. The play timer for each level is long, and the pauses as you try to level up take a bit of thinking. Read on... There are no radical tech tree-style upgrades to each type of turret or ability, but rather stat-based incremental changes in effectiveness in which you not only have to chose the upgrade you want, but also since each upgrade is paired with a random upgrade for the swarm too, you will need to weigh the pros and cons before choosing which one to receive. This means ea...

simple and fun, just 12min for each level. Not too hard unlike other games but not too easy. Unlike other tower defense game where you choose the tower and upgrade, this one you only get to choose from 3 choices and after a while you get to choose again. Upgrade means upgrading the enemy too so need to be a bit careful at that. There's no fast forward time button but its just 12 min per game so i dont really mind. The game is simple and pretty relaxing good for chilling, the swarm of aliens are kinda mesmerizing to watch too.
